Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Kebutuhan Jumlah Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Jatigede Kabupaten Sumedang tahun 2022-2025”. Permasalahan yang dibahas di dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengenai kurang optimalnya dalam pemenuhan jumlah kebutuhan guru Sekolah Dasar (terdiri dari guru kelas, Guru PJOK, dan Guru Agama) yang ada di Kecamatan Jatigede Kabupaten Sumedang karena dilihat dari data jumlah persebaran dan jumlah guru PNS dan non PNS dari pihak Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sumedang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk bisa mengetahui jumlah kebutuhan guru SD di masa yang akan datang melalui pendekatan social demand. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan perhitungan proyeksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan primer yaitu melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Adapun data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data penduduk, data siswa, dan data guru. Teknik pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan hitungan proyeksi dengan Mathematical Equations Approach. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa laju pertumbuhan penduduk di Kecamatan Jatigede pada tahun 2021-2025 akan mengalami penurunan jumlah penduduk, faktor penyebab nya berawal dari adanya proyek pembangunan Jatigede pada tahun 2015 yang akhirnya kebanyakan penduduk bermigrasi. Namun hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan jumlah penduduk usia sekolah yang akan mengalami kenaikan walaupun kenaikannya tidak terlalu signifikan setiap tahunnya. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa jumlah kekurangan guru di Kecamatan Jatigede berjumlah 91 guru kelas, 9 guru penjaskes, dan 2 orang guru agama. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sumedang dan Pemerintahan Kabupaten Sumedang bisa meninjau dan memperhatikan kembali keaadan guru dari segi jumlah maupun kualitas dari tenaga pendidiknya. This research is entitled "Analysis of the Need for the Number of Elementary School Teachers in Jatigede District, Sumedang Regency in 2022-2025". The problems discussed in this study are about the lack of optimal fulfilment of the needs of elementary school teachers (consisting of classroom teachers, Physical Education teachers, and religious teachers) in Jatigede District, Sumedang Regency because it is seen from the data on the distribution and number of government employees and non-government employees teachers from the Education Office of Sumedang Regency employees. This study aims to determine the number of elementary school teacher needs in the future through a social demand approach. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive method and using projection calculations. Data collection techniques used in this study using secondary and primary data, namely through the study of documentation and interviews. The data needed in this study are population data, student data, and teacher data. The data processing technique in this study uses a projection calculation with the Mathematical Equations Approach. The results of this study indicate that the population growth rate in Jatigede District in 2021-2025 will experience a decrease in population; the causal factor starts from the Jatigede development project in 2015, which in the end most of the population migrated. However, this is inversely proportional to the number of school-age population, which will increase even though the increase is not too significant yearly. The calculation results show that the number of teacher shortages in Jatigede District is 91 classroom teachers, 9 physical education teachers, and 2 religion teacher. The recommendation from this research is that it is hoped that the Sumedang Regency Education Office and the Sumedang Regency Government can review and pay attention to the condition of teachers in terms of the number and quality of their teaching staff.
