Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sulitnya siswa untuk memahami materi karena proses pembelajaran belum menerapkan suatu model pembelajaran sehingga siswa hanya dituntut untuk mengingat dan menghafalnya saja, hal tersebut berdampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menurun serta proses pembelajaran hanya terpusat oleh guru. Solusi untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Make a Match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Make a Match. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model spiral Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Desain penelitian ini mempunyai beberapa komponen dalam penelitiannya yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan jumlah 36 siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Anjatan Utara. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 59,72% (Baik) mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 93,05% (Sangat Baik). Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 40,10% (Cukup) mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 76,44% (Sangat Baik). Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 60,8 dengan persentase 50% (Cukup) sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, nilai rata-rata 74,1 dengan persentase 89% (Sangat Baik). Dengan demikian model Cooperative Learning Tipe Make a Match dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa di SDN 1 Anjatan Utara. ----- This research is motivated by the difficulty of students to understand the material because the learning process has not implemented a learning model so that students are only required to remember and memorize it, this has an impact on student learning outcomes that decrease and the learning process is only centered by the teacher.The solution to solve this problem is to apply the Make a Match Type Cooperative Learning model. This study aims to improve teacher activities, student learning activities, and student learning outcomes by applying the Make a Match Type Cooperative Learning model. This research method uses Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart spiral model. This research design has several components in the research, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. This research instrument uses tests, observations, and documentation. This research was carried out in two cycles with a total of 36 fourth grade students at SDN 1 Anjatan Utara. From the results of the study, it was found that the observations of teacher activities in the first cycle were 59.72% (Good) and an increase in the second cycle was 93.05% (Very Good). The results of the observation of student activities in the first cycle of 40.10% (Enough) increased in the second cycle of 76.44% (Very Good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average value of 60.8 with a percentage of 50% (Enough) while in the second cycle student learning outcomes increased, the average value was 74.1 with a percentage of 89% (Very Good). Thus the Make a Match Type Cooperative Learning model can improve teacher activities, student learning activities, and student learning outcomes at SDN 1 Anjatan Utara.
