Abstract
Sumber daya manusia khususnya tenaga kependidikan merupakan aset penting dalam suatu organisasi (Universitas) karena merupakan sumber yang ikut berperan penting dalam kegiatan operasional organisasi. Oleh karena itu kualitas sumber daya manusia harus selalu diperhatikan, dijaga, dan dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh job satisfaction dan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) terhadap employee engagement serta implikasinya terhadap kinerja pegawai (Studi Pada Tenaga Kependidikan Universitas Negeri Padang). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan path analysis (analisis jalur) dengan alat bantu IBM SPSS versi 25.0. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner disertai dengan teknik observasi dan kepustakaan, dan dengan sample penelitian sebanyak 254 responden. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior dan employee engagement cenderung tinggi dan tingkat kinerja pegawai masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil analisis verifikatif menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif tingkat job satisfaction dan organizational citizenship behavior terhadap employee engagement dan kinerja pegawai, dan terdapat pengaruh positif tingkat employee engagement terhadap kinerja pegawai serta terdapat pengaruh positif job satisfaction dan organizational citizenship behavior terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui employee engagement di Universitas Negeri Padang. Human resources, especially education personnel, are important assets in an organization (University) because they are sources that play an important role in the operational activities of the organization. Therefore, the quality of human resources must always be considered, maintained, and developed. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employee engagement and their implications for employee performance (Study on Education Personnel, Padang State University). The research method used is descriptive and verification analysis with data analysis techniques using path analysis with IBM SPSS version 25.0 tools. The data collection used is interviews using a questionnaire accompanied by observation and literature techniques, and with a research sample of 254 respondents. The results of the descriptive analysis show that in general the level of job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior and employee engagement tends to be high and the level of employee performance is in the very high category. The results of the verification analysis show that there is a positive influence on the level of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on employee engagement and employee performance, and there is a positive influence on the level of employee engagement on employee performance and there is a positive influence on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance through employee engagement at the Padang State University.
