Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh penerapan virtual laboratory didalam pembelajaran biologi adapaun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh penerapan virtual laboratory terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Virtual laboratory (Virtual laboratory) merupakan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan software sebagai simulator berisikan semua peralatan yang diperlukan baik dalam persiapan, alat, demostrasi langkah kerja dan pengamatan praktikum. Selama pembelajaran, guru mengarahkan peserta didik dalam memahami konsep konsep perubahan lingkungan (pencemaran dan perubahan iklim). Metode yang digunakan adalah Pre Experimental dengan desan penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 34 peserta didik pada satu kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari 30 soal pilihan ganda dengan lima option, dan angket sikap terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest 41 dan posttest 83. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang cukup efektif dalam penerapan virtual laboratory, dengan menghasilkan nilai N-gain 0,71. Rata-rata ketuntasan pembelajaran peserta didik setelah menerapkan virtual laboratory ialah 88%. Hasil belajar tentang sikap peserta didik saat mendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan virtual laboratory menunjukkan kategori yang sangat baik dengan rata-rata 81%, dengan sikap tertinggi pada indikator bekerjasama dan berpikir kritis. Kata kunci: virtual laboratory, pengetahuan kognitif, sikap (afektif), pencemaran lingkungan, perubahan iklim This study analyzes the application of a virtual laboratory in biology learning with the purpose of this study is to obtain information about the effect of the application of a virtual laboratory study on the learning outcomes of 10th-grade students on environmental change subjects. A virtual laboratory is a learning activity using the software as a simulator containing all the necessary equipment for preparation, tools, demonstration of work steps, and practical observations. During learning, the teacher guides students in understanding the concepts of environmental changes (pollution and climate change). The method used is Pre Experimental with a research design of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 34 students in one experimental class. The instrumen used in this research consisted of 30 multiple choice questions with five options and an attitude questionnaire towards learning. The results of the study obtained an average value of 41% in the pretests and 83% in the posttests. So it can be concluded that there is a fairly effective implementation of the virtual laboratory on the learning outcomes of the students, with an N-gain value of 0.71. The average learning mastery of students after implementing a virtual laboratory is 88%. Learning outcomes about students' attitudes when learning using a virtual laboratory show a very good category with an average of 81%, with the highest attitude on the indicators of teamwork and critical thinking.
