Abstract
ABSTRAK Nurul Ashfiani, S.Psi., Gr. (2022). Efektivitas Konseling Wellness untuk Meningkatkan Psychological Well-Being Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Dibimbing oleh: Dr. Amin Budiamin, M.Pd. (Pembimbing I) dan Dr. Nandang Budiman, M.Pd. (Pembimbing II) Perubahan sistem pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia mempengaruhi kondisi psychological well-being siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas konseling kelompok wellness untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Psychological well-being dalam penelitian ini didefinisikan sebagai berfungsinya aspek psikologis individu yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya penerimaan diri, hubungan baik dengan orang lain, kemandirian, penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan hidup, dan pengembangan pribadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimental dengan rancangan quasi eksperimental pretest-posttest design dan instrumen diadaptasi dari teori Ryff & Singer (1996). Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII MTs Assa’idiyyah Cipanas Tahun Pelajaran 2021-2022 yang kemudian 14 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian dengan teknik penarikan sampel purposive sampling. Berdasarkan uji Mann Whitney diketahui nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0.002 (p < 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan hasil pre-test dan post-test mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling kelompok wellness berefikasi untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being siswa. The changes in the learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia affected the psychological well-being of students. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the wellness group counseling to increase students’ psychological well-being at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Psychological well-being in this research is defined as the functioning of individual psychological aspects as indicated by self-acceptance, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life and personal growth. This research uses quantitative approach. It adopted quasi-experimental pre-test post-test design and the instrument was adapted from Ryff and Singer (1996). The population of the research is the 8th grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Assa’idiyyah Cianjur year academic 2021-2022 and 14 students as sample with purposive sampling. Based on the Mann Whitney test, it is known that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.002 (p < 0.05). This shows that the results of the pre-test and post-test experienced a significant change. Thus it can be concluded that health group counseling has efficacy to improve students' psychological well-being. Keywords: counseling; wellness; psychological well-being
