Abstract
ANALISIS BIOEKONOMI PERIKANAN RAJUNGAN (Portunus pelagicus) DI PERAIRAN TELUK BANTEN Oleh: Faris Ihsan Program Studi Pendidikan Kelautan dan Perikanan, Kampus Daerah di Serang Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Pembimbing : Daniel Julianto Tarigan, S.Pi, M.Si. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini didasarkan atas adanya masalah terhadap komoditas ekspor dari rajungan, namun tidak didukung kondisi alam yang malah menjadikan sebuah masalah fluktuasi. Hal ini diyakini karena ketersedian stok dan penurunan produktivitas dan kapasitas rekrutmen dari stok yang dieksploitasi. Permintaan pasar dan kenaikan harga menyebabkan hasil tangkapan rajungan meningkat atau nelayan menangkap rajungan dalam jumlah besar. Tingginya tingkat penggunaan atau penangkapan rajungan akan mengurangi stok alami dan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan kesempatan kerja mereka. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi nilai ekonomi dari hasil perikanan rajungan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendapatan nelayan ketika menangkap perikanan rajungan di Teluk Banten dan mengkaji hasil bioekonomi perikanan rajungan di Teluk Banten dengan menggunakan sistem produksi Rajungan perusaha penangkapan (CPUE), maximum sustainable yield (MSY), maximum economic yield (MEY). Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan peningkatan pendapatan rajungan bagi nelayan di Teluk Banten demi meningkatkan tingkat produksi hasil rajungan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei, observasi dan wawancara melalui analisis deskriptif yang akan digunakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan langsung kepada nelayan. Hasil bioekonomi pada aktivitas maximum sustainable yield (MSY) didapatkan hasil tangkapan sebanyak 74,77 ton/trip dengan trip penangkapan sebanyak 9520 trip/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pendapatan nelayan terdapat bahwa dari 20 responden penelitian 18 responden mendapatkan kriteria > 1 yang artinya usaha nelayan rajungan dapat dikatakan menguntungkan dan 2 responden = 1 yang artinya impas. Analisis bioekonomi di Teluk Banten menunjukan perikanan rajungan mengalami overfishing dan pada pendapatan nelayan disimpulkan bahwasannya penangkapan rajungan terbilang menguntungkan. ABSTRACT This research is based on the existence of problems with export commodities from crabs, but it is not supported by natural conditions which actually make a fluctuation problem. This is believed to be due to stock availability and decreased productivity and recruitment capacity of exploited stock. Market demand and price increases cause the catch of crabs to increase or fishermen to catch crabs in large numbers. High levels of use or capture of crabs will reduce natural stocks and affect their growth and employment opportunities. This will affect the economic value of the crab fishery products. The purpose of this study is the income of fishermen when catching crab fisheries in Banten Bay and assessing the bioeconomic results of crab fisheries in Banten Bay using the fishing company's crab production system (CPUE), maximum sustainable yield (MSY). , maximum economic yield (MEY). This research is expected to be able to provide an increase in crab income for fishermen in Banten Bay in order to increase the production level of crab products. The implementation method in this study is a descriptive method using survey methods, observations and interviews through descriptive analysis which will be used using a direct approach to fishermen. The results of the bioeconomic activity on the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) were 74.77 tons/trip with 9520 fishing trips/year. Based on the results of the calculation of fishermen's income, it is found that from 20 research respondents 18 respondents got criteria > 1 which means that the small crab fishing business can be said to be profitable and 2 respondents = 1 which means break even. Bioeconomic analysis in Banten Bay shows that the crab fishery is experiencing overfishing and on the income of fishermen it is concluded that catching crabs is quite profitable.
