Abstract
ABSTRAK Ahmad Maskur Subaweh. 2021. Kajian Struktur, Nilai, dan Fungsi Tradisi Lisan Aurodan Jamaah Tarekat Asy-Syahadatain Cirebon Serta Pemanfaatannya sebagai Buku Pengayaan Pengetahuan Tradisi Lisan Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi fakta di lapangan berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat bahwa tradisi lisan aurodan Jamaah Tarekat Asy-Syahadatain Cirebon yang di dalamnya ada puisi nadoman berbahasa Cirebon ini mulai ditinggalkan generasi pewarisnya. Tradisi lisan aurodan dianggap kuno dan tidak sesuai lagi dengan tradisi modern yang lebih praktis dan tidak banyak ritual budaya dalam kegiatan beribadahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji struktur performansi tradisi lisan aurodan, nilai dan fungsi aurodan dan pemanfaatannya bahan penyaan tradisi lisan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang bersifat etnografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Berlandaskan hasil penelitian dapat dijelaskan bahwa (1) struktur performansi aurodan mencakup identitas dan peran partisipan, alat ekspresif yang dipakai, interaksi sosial yang terjadi, rangkaian tindakan, teks, konteks, dan koteks; (2) tradisi lisan mengandung nilai-nilai yang bisa dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari; (3) tradisi lisan aurodan mempunyai beberapa fungsi, yaitu fungsi estetis, fungsi pragmatis, fungsi etis, dan fungsi historis. Namun, fungsi-fungsi tersebut mengalami pelemahan di masyarakat; pengabaian peranan dari tradisi lisan aurodan pada fungsi sosialnya; dan rendahnya upaya pewarisan aurodan kepada generasi muda; (3) bagi Jamaah Tarekat Asy-Syahadatain Cirebon tradisi lisan aurodan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media edukasi keagamaan dan pengendali perilaku sosial, media silaturahmi masyarakat; dan (4) aurodan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar pengayaan tradisi lisan. Analysis of the Structure, Values, and Functions of the Oral Tradition of the Aurodan Congregation of The Asy-Syahadatain Congregation of Cirebon and Efforts to Use it as Enrichment Material in Oral Tradition Courses This research is based on facts in the field based on the results of interviews with the community that the oral tradition of the Aurodan Congregation of Asy-Syahadatain Cirebon which contains nadoman poetry in Cirebon is starting to be abandoned by its heir generation. The aurodan oral tradition is considered ancient and no longer in accordance with modern traditions which are more practical and there are not many cultural rituals in their worship activities. This study aims to examine the structure of the performance of the aurodan oral tradition, the value and function of the aurodan and its use as a presentation material for the oral tradition course. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive ethnographic method. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and document study. Based on the research results, it can be explained that (1) the structure of aurodan performance includes the identity and roles of participants, expressive tools used, social interactions that occur, sequences of actions, texts, contexts, and contexts; (2) oral traditions contain values that can be used in everyday life; (3) the aurodan oral tradition has several functions, namely aesthetic functions, pragmatic functions, ethical functions, and historical functions. However, these functions are weakened in society; neglect of the role of the aurodan oral tradition in its social function; and the low effort of aurodan inheritance to the younger generation; (3) for the Asy-Syahadatain Congregation of the Cirebon Congregation, the aurodan oral tradition can be used as a medium for religious education and controlling social behavior, as well as a medium for community gathering; and (4) aurodan can be used as teaching material for enrichment of oral tradition courses.
