Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mencetak lulusan siap kerja, mempunyai tanggung jawab yang besar agar mampu untuk terjun langsung memasuki dunia kerja. Para siswa akan dibekali keterampilan dasar menjadi seorang pekerja agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dunia usaha/dunia industri. Hal tersebut salah satunya bisa didapatkan dengan melaksanakan praktik kerja industri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengalaman praktik kerja industri siswa pada kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan di SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah tahun 2022; (2) mengetahui kesiapan kerja siswa pada kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan di SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah; (3) mengetahui hubungan pengalaman praktik kerja industri dengan kesiapan kerja siswa pada kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan di SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah asosiatif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 61 siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 41 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dengan penskoran dibuat dengan skala likert. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui gambaran variabel, dan analisis korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menjunjukkan bahwa (1) pengalaman praktik kerja industri siswa menunjukkan kecenderungan pada kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 37%; (2) kesiapan kerja siswa menunjukkan kecenderungan berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 46%; (3) hubungan pengalaman praktik kerja industri dengan kesiapan kerja siswa adalah termasuk kategori kuat, dengan nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,739. Vocational High School as an educational institution that produces graduates who are ready to work, has a big responsibility to be able to go directly into the world of work. Students will be equipped with basic skills to become a worker in order to meet the needs of the business area/industrial area. One of these can be obtained by carrying out industrial work practices. This study aims to (1) determine the student industrial work experience in the Modeling Design and Building Information skill competencies at SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah in 2022; (2) determine the student work readiness in the Modeling Design and Building Information skill competencies at SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah; (3) knowing the relation between industrial work experience and student work readiness in the Modeling Design and Building Information skill competencies at SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah. The method used in this research is correlational associative with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was 61 students with a sample of 41 students. Data collection techniques used in the form of a questionnaire with a score made with a Likert scale. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis to determine the description of the variables, and correlation analysis to determine the relation between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The results showed that (1) student experience of industrial work practices showed a tendency in the good enough category with a percentage of 37%; (2) student work readiness showed a tendency to be in the good enough category with a percentage of 46%; (3) the relation between industrial work experience with student work readiness is included in the potent category, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.739.
