Abstract

Latar belakang permasalahan pada penelitian ini untuk model pembelajaran konvensional seperti model ceramah, model hafalan, dan model diskusi kelompok di dalam kelas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) dan pengaruhnya terhadap keterampilan berpikir sejarah kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan metode pretest dan posttest dengan sampel kelas XI.IPA.4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI.IPA.5 sebagai kelas kontrol treatments dilakukan 12 pertemuan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kayu Agung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE terhadap keterampilan berpikir sejarah kritis pada berpikir kronologis berpikir kronologis, pemahaman sejarah, analisis dan interpretasi historis, dan Analisis dan Pengambilan Keputusan dan 2) terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol terhadap keterampilan berpikir sejarah kritis kedua kelas tersebut. Kata Kunci: Model CORE, Keterampilan Berpikir Sejarah Kritis, Pembelajaran Sejarah The introductions of problems are research for convention learning models, speech models, and grup discussion models in the class. The research aims to implement the CORE learning model (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) and its effect on critical historical thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with pretest and posttest methods with a sample of class XI.IPA.4 as the experimental class and class XI.IPA.5 as the control class with treatments were conducted in 12 meetings at the Senior High School 1 Kayu Agung. The results of this study indicate that 1) there is an effect of the CORE learning model on critical historical thinking skills on chronological thinking, historical understanding, historical analysis and interpretation, and analysis and decision making, and 2) there is a significant difference between the experimental class and Control class on critical historical thinking skills of the two classes.
