Abstract

Workplace-based assessment (WPBA) is complex and relies on a number of recently developed methods and tools, some involving checklists and others using assessments given on the rating scales. WPBA is performed in clinics with real patients. Workplace assessment targets the top tier of the Miller pyramid by gathering information on how physicians perform in their normal operations and how they behave in real-life daily. WPBA helps assess students in all cognitive, psychological, communicative, managerial, and professional aspects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the practice of strategic management and find out the WPBA strategic management model in medical professional schools. This mixture search method uses a sequential approach to exploring. The mixture sequential method is a method of studying combining qualitative and quantitative data analysis and quantitative analysis in the phase sequence. In addition, in the quantitative stage, seeking reviews show WPBA students of SMK Kesehatan's LSP SMKN 7 Bandung by aspect: 1) Background is included in the very good category with the execution score of quality 86.6% are; 2) The entry is included in the category very well with the execution value of quality 86.22; 3) This process is included in very good type with the quality of 85.21% quality; 4) The product is included in the very good category with the quality finished value of 85.73%; and (5) included in the category very well with the value of quality results of 86.03%. The implementation of WPBA for students' health in vocational training still has to be improved. Participation is that WPBA should pay attention to the ability of the evaluation, done in each stage so that assesse/trainees can complete the workplace certification system of SKNII level II. Because the pharmacy is the procedure, the evaluation can benefit from assessing this form. Pharmaceutical education in our country can deploy WPBA on the authority of assessments/students and the improvement of clinical health care.
