Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran adaptif yang diterapkan di SMKN 4 Bandung menggunakan sistem blok, penerapannya dengan memadatkan jam dan materi pelajaran agar materi tidak tersendat. Disisi lain peserta didik akan rawan kebosanan dan menurunkan motivasi belajar, sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang nyaman agar motivasi belajar meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa sesuai dengan faktor pemilihan metode pembelajaran dan mengetahui metode yang nyaman bagi peserta didik untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan desain eksploratori, dimana penelitian ini harus berurutan dari pengumpulan hipotesis menggunakan kualitatif berupa wawancara yang melibatkan informan lima mahasiswa ppl dan guru pamong, kemudian hipotesis tersebut diuji dengan menggunakan kuantitatif berupa kuesioner yang melibatkan responden siswa kelas XI TAV 1. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa pada penerapan sistem blok dengan jam pelajaran yang panjang, mahasiswa ppl menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan peserta didik lebih nyaman dengan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif atau dua arah. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan mahasiswa sudah sesuai dengan faktor pemilihan metode pembelajaran mulai dari pendahuluan, penyampaian materi, pelaksanaan praktik, pengulangan materi, sampai penutupan pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai “kuat” yang ditunjukkan oleh regresi linear. Kata kunci: Metode pembelajaran, motivasi belajar, dan sistem pembelajaran blok. The adaptive learning system applied at SMKN 4 Bandung uses a block system, its application by condensing hours and subject matter so that the material does not stagnate. On the other hand, students will be prone to boredom and reduce learning motivation, so a comfortable learning method is needed so that learning motivation increases. This study aims to determine the learning methods used by students in accordance with the factors of choosing learning methods and knowing the methods that are comfortable for students to increase students' learning motivation. The research method used in this study uses a mix method with an exploratory design, where this research must sequentially from collecting hypotheses using qualitative in the form of interviews involving five PPL students and tutors, then the hypothesis is tested using quantitative in the form of questionnaires involving class student respondents. XI TAV 1. The results of this study indicate that in the application of the block system with long lesson hours, PPL students use varied learning methods and students are more comfortable with varied learning methods. The learning method used by students is in accordance with the selection factors for learning methods starting from the introduction, delivery of material, implementation of practice, repetition of material, until the closing of the lesson. The learning method has an effect on students' learning motivation with a "strong" value indicated by linear regression. Keywords: Learning methods, learning motivation, and block learning systems.
