Abstract
Kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang inovatif serta mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa menjadi latar belakang dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android yang layak dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perpipaan sistem refrigerasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan dengan model PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation). Sedangkan, untuk pengujian hasil belajar menggunakan Pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TPTU SMKN 1 Cimahi berjumlah 106 siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TPTU B sebanyak 35 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan non-tes yaitu lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa, serta tes yaitu pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dihasilkan media pembelajaran perpipaan sistem refrigerasi berbasis aplikasi android yang layak dengan penilaian sebesar 91,67% dari ahli media dan 85,33% dari ahli materi. Terjadi pula peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat sebesar 15,4%, dimana sebanyak 85,7% siswa mencapai KKM dan nilai N-gain sebesar 0.33 dengan kriteria sedang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah dihasilkan media pembelajaran perpipaan sistem refrigerasi yang layak dan berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. The need for innovative learning media and able to increase student motivation and learning outcomes is the background of this research. This study aims to produce appropriate android application-based learning media and can improve student learning outcomes in the piping material of the refrigeration system. This study uses a development method with the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) model. Meanwhile, for testing learning outcomes using the Pre-experimental method with one group pretest posttest research design. The population of this research is the students of class XI TPTU SMKN 1 Cimahi totaling 106 students. The research sample was 35 students of class XI TPTU B. The research instrument used non-tests, namely validation sheets and student response questionnaires, as well as tests, namely pretest and posttest. The results showed that the appropriate android application-based refrigeration system piping learning media was produced with an assessment of 91,67% from media experts and 85.33% from material experts. There was also an increase in student learning outcomes with an average score of 15.4%, where as many as 85.7% of students achieved the KKM and an N-gain value of 0.33 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this study is that the resulting refrigeration system piping learning media is feasible and has an impact on improving student learning outcomes.
