Abstract

Pelatihan fisik di semua cabang olahraga pada prestasi atlet merupakan hal yang sangat penting, dengan itu prestasi olahraga dapat ditingkatkan melalui dengan program latihan yang benar sesuai dengan periodisasi. Salah satu komponen fisik yang diperlukan seorang atlet yaitu daya tahan (VO2max). Ada beberapa pola pelatihan yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan VO2 max. Salah satunya circuit training melalui model periodisasi reverse. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui “apakah terdapat dampak yang signifikan dalam penerapan circuit training melalui model periodisasi terbalik (reverse) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan VO2 max”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan One Grup Pre-test Post-test Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes awal/pretest kepada satu kelompok yang disebut kelompok eksperimen. Kemudian diberikan treatment dengan metode circuit training. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan empat cara yaitu dekstiptif statistika, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji Paired Sampel T-Test. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Futsal Putri UPI. Sampel yang penullis gunakan yaitu Purposive Sampling sebanyak 14 orang. Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu sebanyak 12 pertemuan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa circuit training melalui model periodisasi reverse memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan VO2 max. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode circuit training melalui model periodisasi reverse memiliki dampat yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan VO2 max. ABSTRACT IMPACT OF APPLICATION CIRCUIT TRAINING THROUGH REVERSE PERIODIZATION MODEL ON IMPROVEMENT OF VO 2 MAX CAPABILITY Supervisor : Dr. H. Therefore, sports achievement can be improved through the correct exercise program in accordance with the periodization. One of the physical components needed by an athlete is endurance (VO2 max). There are several training patterns that are used to increase the capacity of VO2 max. One of them is circuit training with reverse periodization model. The purpose of this study is to find out "whether there is a significant impact on the implementation of circuit training with reverse periodization model on increasing VO2 max ability" . The research method used is an experimental method using One Group Pre-test Post-test Design . The data collection technique was carried out by giving a pretest to a group called the experimental group. Then given treatment with circuit training method . The data processing technique uses four methods, namely descriptive statistics, normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample T-Test. The population used in this study were athletes from the UPI Women's Futsal Student Activity Unit (UKM). The sampling technique that the writer uses is purposive sampling (n=14). The study was conducted for 4 weeks with 12 meetings. The results of the study indicate that circuit training with reverse periodization model has a significant impact on increasing the capacity of VO2 max. So it can be concluded that the circuit training method through the reverse periodization model has a significant impact on increasing the capacity of VO2 max.
