Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian yang dilakukan didasari oleh hasil penelitian dengan memanfaatkan alat peraga perkalian berbasis metode montessori pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas II MI Ar-Rofi. Dikarenakan matematika bersifat abstrak dengan itu siswa mudah memahami jika penyampaiannya jelas dengan beberapa bantuan alat peraga. Hal ini terlihat pada pembelajaran guru dalam menyampaikan menggunakan metode ceramah dan memberikan soal dilanjut dengan menyalin soal ke buku tulis dan terlihat pada hasil belajar siswa banyak yang kurang dari KKM (78). Permasalahan tersebut cocok dengan adanya bantuan alat peraga yang memudahkan siswa memahaminya. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus diawali dengan perencanaan, melaksanakan, melihat, dan mereview. Siswa kelas II MI Ar-Rofi yang berjumlah 25 siswa menjadi subjek. Observasi guru, observasi aktifitas siswa, lembar angket motivasi, dan tes hasil belajar siswa merupakan teknik pengumpulan data. Perolehan motivasi dan perolehan belajar siswa setiap siklusnya naik. Perolehan angket respon siswa terhadap pemanfaatan alat peraga perkalian pada pra siklus memperoleh rata-rata 21,92 persentase 55% siklus I naik menjadi 25,76 persentase 64% siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 28,52 dengan persentase 71% dengan kategori “Tinggi”. Selanjutnya, tes untuk mengetahui manfaat alat peraga perkalian dan memperoleh rata-rata 73 pra siklus, membaik tiap siklus I II dengan rata-rata 87 artinya semua siswa sudah tuntas atau sudah memenuhi standar kriteria ketuntasan yaitu 78. Pemanfaatan alat peraga diterima baik oleh siswa dengan membuktikan motivasi dan hasil belajar yang membaik. Kata kunci: Alat peraga, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar. Abstrak This research is based on the results of research by using multiplication teaching aids based on the montessori method in learning mathematics in class II MI Ar-Rofi. Because mathematics is abstract, it is easy for students to understand if the delivery is clear with the help of props. This can be seen in the teacher's learning in delivering using the lecture method and giving questions followed by copying the questions into notebooks and seen in the learning outcomes of many students who are less than the KKM (78). These problems are very suitable with the help of teaching aids, which makes it very easy for students to understand. Classroom action research was used in the research as many as 2 cycles. Classroom action research begins with planning, implementing, observing, and reviewing. Class II students of MI Ar-Rofi, totaling 25 students, became the subject. Teacher observations, student activity observations, motivational questionnaire sheets, and student learning outcomes tests are data collection techniques. The results of student motivation and learning outcomes each cycle increase. Obtaining student response questionnaires on the use of multiplication teaching aids in the pre-cycle obtained an average of 21.92, the percentage of 55% in the first cycle rose to 25.76, the percentage of 64% in the second cycle, obtaining an average of 28.52 with a percentage of 71% in the "High" category. . Furthermore, the test was to determine the benefits of multiplication teaching aids with tests and obtained an average of 73 pre-cycles, improving each cycle I II with an average of 87, which means that all students have completed or have met the standard of completeness criteria, namely 78.
