Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Role Playing berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik, serta untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif keterampilan sosial peserta didik dengan menggunakan model Role Playing. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Untuk pengambilan data dilakukan dengan test, angket, dan observasi. Setiap hasil data yang telah diperoleh diolah menggunakan SPSS 20 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Role Playing berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Keterampilan sosial peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model Role Playing memiliki efektivitas dengan kategori cukup baik serta menunjukan peningkatan di setiap pertemuan. penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing pada pelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, suatu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa salah satunya dengan berkelompok untuk memerankan suatu peran. Maka dari itu, model pembelajaran role playing pada pelajaran IPS dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan sosial. This study aims to find out how the role playing learning model affects the social skills of students, and to find out how effective the social skills of students are by using the role playing model. The method used is a quantitative research method with a research design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample consisted of 30 students who were determined by the saturated sample technique. For data collection is done by test, questionnaire, and observation. Each data result that has been obtained is processed using SPSS 20 for windows. The results showed that the Role Playing learning model had an effect on the social skills of students. The social skills of students in social studies learning using the Role Playing model have an effectiveness with a fairly good category and show improvement in every meeting. the use of role playing learning models in social studies lessons can improve students' social skills, a way to improve students' social skills, one of which is by grouping to play a role. Therefore, the role playing learning model in social studies lessons can have an influence on social skills.
