Abstract
Aktivitas penangkapan ikan pelagis kecil khususnya ikan kembung perempuan dan ikan tembang secara terus-menerus akan menyebabkan penurunan stok ikan kembung perempuan (Rastrelliger brachysoma) dan ikan tembang (Sardinella fimbriata). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang berat, distrbusi frekuensi panjang dan berat, faktor kondisi, serta kelayakan tangkap ikan kembung perempuan dan ikan tembang berdasarkan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Panipahan pada Januari 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persamaan hubungan panjang berat ikan kembung perempuan W = 0,007dan ikan tembang W = 0.2416dimana ikan kembung perempuan termasuk tipe pertumbuhan allometrik positif dengan nilai b 3,1375 dan ikan tembang termasuk tipe allometrik negatif dengan nilai b sama dengan 1,8273. Nilai faktor kondisi ikan kembung perempuan terbesar pada 1,00769 dan ikan tembang 1,00109. Frekuensi panjang ikan kembung perempuan berkisar 13-17,1 cm dan ikan tembang berkisar 13,6-17,9 cm. Dari analisis kelayakan tangkap terhadap 100 ekor ikan kembung perempuan (Rastrelliger brachysoma) dan 100 ekor ikan tembang didapati perbedaan yang signifikan. Ikan kembung perempuan hasil tangkapan diketahui 97% belum layak tangkap 3% layak tangkap sedangkan ikan tembang (Sardinella fimbriata) 100% layak tangkap sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ikan kembung perempuan yang berada di Selat Malaka pada bulan Januari telah mengalami kelebihan tangkapan. The continuous activity of catching small pelagic fish, especially female mackerel and tembang fish will cause a decrease in the stock of female mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma) and tembang (Sardinella fimbriata). This study aims to determine the relationship between length and weight, frequency distribution of length and weight, condition factors, and the feasibility of catching female mackerel and tembang fish based on the size of the first gonad maturity. This research was conducted in Panipahan on January, 2022. The research method used was a survey method. The results showed the equation of the relationship between length and weight of female mackerel W = 0,007and tembang fish W = 0.2416where female mackerel belonged to the positive allometric growth type with a b value of 3,1375 and tembang fish included negative allometric type with a value of b equal to 1,8273. The condition factor value for female mackerel was highest at 1,00769 and tembang fish at 1.00109. The frequency of female mackerel length ranged from 13-17.1 cm and tembang fish ranged from 13.6-17.9 cm. From the analysis of the feasibility of catching 100 female mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma) and 100 tembang fish, significant differences were found. It was found that 97% of female mackerel caught were not suitable for catching, 3% were suitable for catching, while tembang fish (Sardinella fimbriata) were 100% suitable for catching then it can be concluded that the female mackerel in the Malacca Strait in January had overfished.
