Abstract

Pengarang menggambarkan hegemoni sosial budaya pada cerpen-cerpen anak Raja Gembul. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan representasi hegemoni sosial budaya pada cerpen-cerpen anak Raja Gembul karya Soesilo Toer. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis wacana kritis model Leeuwen dan hegemoni Gramsci. Metode penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Objek yang digunakan sebagai sumber data, yaitu Anak Pembesar dan Polisi (APP), Durian Parno Menang (DPM), dan Maka Selamat Sang Lembu (MSSL). Penelitian ini akan mengkaji representasi hegemoni sosial budaya pada cerpen-cerpen anak Raja Gembul. Hal tersebut, dikaji dengan wujud lingual, strategi eksklusi, dan strategi inklusi yang mengandung makna hegemoni sosial budaya. Hasil analisis berdasarkan kajian tersebut menyatakan sebagai berikut. Pertama, penulis menggunakan pasivasi dari strategi eksklusi yang mengandung makna hegemoni sosial pada cerpen-cerpen anak Raja Gembul. Strategi tersebut ditandai “oleh siapa” dan “siapa pengguna”, yaitu seperti dihormati, disegani, ditetapkan, dipecat, dinaikkan, digembalakan, dan disembunyikan. Strategi tersebut mengandung makna hegemoni sosial budaya, yaitu (1) merebut kekuasaan, (2) bersifat ekonomis, (3) memegang kendali, (4) dominasi, dan (5) kesadaran solidaritas. Kedua, penulis menggunakan deferensiasi-indeferensiasi, objektif-abstraksi, nominalisasi-kategorisasi, nominasi-identifikasi, determinasi-indeterminasi, asimilasi-individualisasi, dan asosiasi-disosiasi dari strategi inklusi yang mengandung makna hegemoni sosial budaya. Ketiga, cerpen-cerpen anak Raja Gembul karya Soes banyak ditemukan representasi hegemoni sosial budaya, yaitu hegemoni kapitalis dan hegemoni kekuasaan. Hal tersebut, terbukti berdasarkan banyak ditemukan representasi hegemoni dengan strategi inklusi khususnya skema objektif-abstraksi. Kata kunci: cerpen anak, representasi, hegemoni sosial budaya, analisis wacana kritis. The author describes the social culture hegemony in children's reading in Raja Gembul children's short stories. Research this purpose is showing for representation of the social-cultural hegemony in Raja Gembul children's short stories by Soesilo Toer. This research has used the critical discourse analysis theory by Leeuwen and the theory of Gramsci hegemony. This research method was using the qualitative description. Data research will use as sampel, i.e Anak Pembesar dan Polisi (APP), Durian Parno Menang (DPM), and Maka Selamat Sang Lembu (MSSL). This research will analyze and describe the representation of social culture hegemony in Raja Gembul children's short stories. That matter was studied by lingual shape, exclusion, and inclusion which was containing the significance of social culture hegemony. The result based on the studied said, as follows. First, the author has used passivation of exclusion strategy which is contain the social culture hegemony meaning in Raja Gembul children's short stories. That strategy was marked "by who" and "who is the user", i.e dihormati, disegani, ditetapkan, dipecat, dinaikkan, digembalakan, and disembunyikan. That strategy has contained the social culture hegemony meaning, i.n seize power, economical, hold the control, domination, and solidarity awareness. Second, the author has used indifferentiation-differentiation, objectivation-abstraction, nomination-categorization, nomination-identification, indetermination-determination, assimilation-individualization, and association-dissociation of inclusion strategy which is contain the social culture hegemony meaning. Third, Raja Gembul children's short stories by Soes there are the representation of social-cultural hegemony i.s capitalist hegemony and power hegemony. That matter proven based there are the representation of social-cultural hegemony by inclusion strategy, specially of objectivation-abstraction scheme.
