Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara terhadap siswa dan guru Bahasa Sunda di SMP Negeri 52 Bandung, penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan siswa dalam pembelajaran guguritan yang meliputi pemahaman akan definisi guguritan, struktur dan unsur, serta isi dari guguritan tersebut. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan guguritan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media monopoli. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kauntitatif menggunakan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 52 Bandung tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik mengumpulkan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes disertai instrumen yang berupa lembar soal dalam bentuk uraian. Data yang sudah ada kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS PASW versi 25. Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil tes pengetahuan guguritan siswa sebelum menggunakan media monopoli termasuk ke dalam kategori belum mampu, rata-ratanya 57,53. Sedangkan pengetahuan guguritan siswa sesudah menggunakan media monopoli termasuk ke dalam kategori mampu, rata-ratanya 83,09. Pengetahuan guguritan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media monopoli mengalami peningkatan, dari belum mampu (rata-rata 57,53) menjadi mampu (rata-rata 83,09). Perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan guguritan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media monopoli terlihat dari nilai signifikansi (Sig.2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 atau H1 diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pangetahuan guguritan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media monopoli. Oleh karena itu, bisa disimpulkan bahwa media monopoli cocok dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran guguritan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 52 Bandung tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Kata Kunci: Media Monopoli, Pembelajaran Guguritan Based one the resulst of the interview with students and Sundanese teacher at SMP Negeri 52 Bandung, this research is motivated by the lack of knowledge of students in learning affliction which includes an understanding of the definition of affliction, its structure and elements, as well as the content of the affidavit. The aim is to determine whether or not there is a significant difference between students' knowledge of the fallout before and after using monopoly media. The method used is a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach using a one group pre-test and post-test design. The data sources in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 52 Bandung in the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 32 students. The technique of collecting data used is a test technique accompanied by an instrument in the form of a question sheet in the form of a description. Existing data were then analyzed using SPSS PASW version 25 software. Data analysis included normality test, and hypothesis test. The results of the student's affliction knowledge test before using monopoly media were included in the unable category, the average was 57,53. Meanwhile, the students' knowledge of affliction after using monopoly media was included in the capable category, the average was 83.09. The knowledge of students' fall before and after using monopoly media has increased, from not being able to (an average of 57,53) to being able (an average of 83.09). The significant difference between students' knowledge of affliction before and after using monopoly media can be seen from the significance value (Sig.2-tailed) which is 0.000 < 0.05 or H1 is accepted and Ho is not accepted. That means, there is a significant difference between students' knowledge of death before and after using monopoly media. Therefore, it can be concluded that monopoly media is suitable and effective in learning the fallout of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 52 Bandung in the 2021/2022 academic year.
