Abstract

Kesulitan siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yaitu pada materi kosakata baku dan keterampilan berbahasa. Selain itu, terdapat faktor guru dalam menguasai teknologi yang masih kurang baik, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang relevan dan tidak menarik. Untuk dapat menyampaikan materi dengan baik, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang dikemas secara menarik dan disesuaikan dengan karaktersitik siswa SD yaitu senang bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang dikombinasikan dengan permainan untuk siswa kelas III di SDN 255 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung berupa media ular tangga. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Design and Development (D&D) dengan prosedur penelitian mengikuti langkah-langkah menurut Peffers, et al yaitu Identify the Problem, Describe the Objectives, Design and Develop the Artifact, Test the Artifact, Evaluate Testing Result, and Communication the Testing Result. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengembangan media ular tangga dimulai dari tahap mengidentifikasi masalah, mendeskripsikan tujuan, mendesain produk melalui rancangan GBPM dan RPP, mengembangkan produk, uji coba produk, evaluasi hasil uji coba produk, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil uji coba produk. Hasil uji kelayakan yang diperoleh persentase sebesar 78,67% dari ahli media, 100% dari ahli materi, dan 90% dari ahli bahasa. Adapun respons dari siswa diperoleh hasil skor persentase sebesar 87,92% dan respons dari guru sebesar 80%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ular tangga sudah layak digunakan untuk siswa kelas III SD di SDN 255 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung sebagai media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa siswa pada materi kosakata baku dan tidak baku. ------ The difficulties of students in learning Indonesian Language are in the standard vocabulary material and students' language skills. For the fact that there is still a lack of mastery of technology by teachers, and the use of learning media that is less relevant and uninteresting. To be able to convey the material correctly, learning media are required and need to be delivered in an attractive manner and also referring to the characteristics of students is their tendency to enjoy playing and working together in a group. This study aims to develop learning media for third grade students at SDN 255 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung in the form of a snake and ladder game. The research method that has been used is Design and Development (D&D) with research procedures according to Peffers, et al, namely Identify the Problem, Describe the Objectives, Design and Develop the Artifact, Test the Artifact, Evaluate Testing Result, and Communication the Testing Result. Data collection techniques and research instruments used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Moreover, data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the development of snake and ladder media for learning students' language skills in the standard and non-standard vocabulary material according to research proposed by Peffers, et al, namely by identifying problems, describing objectives, designing products through GBPM and RPP designs, developing products; snake and ladder media, product trials, evaluation of product trial results, and communicating the results of product trials. The results of the feasibility test are 78.67% from media experts, 100% from material experts, and 90% from linguists. The responses from students are at the percentage score of 87.92% and the response from the teacher was 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that the snake and ladder media is feasible to be used as a learning medium for third grade students at SDN 255 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung in learning students' language skills on standard and non-standard vocabulary material.
