Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perkembangan COVID-19 di Indonesia sampai 10 Februari 2022 dengan kasus terkonfirmasi mencapai 4.667.554 dan jumlah pasien yang meninggal 144.858 jiwa. Cara menghentikan penyebaran virus ini adalah dengan mengembangkan vaksin. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin booster di Kecamatan Wado. Vaksinasi adalah penggunaan vaksin dengan tujuan secara aktif untuk menghasilkan kekebalan seseorang terhadap penyakit, Namun, permasalahannya adalah masih banyak masyarakat yang menolak untuk divaksinasi. Pemberitaan dari berbagai sumber dapat mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin. Berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan, vaksinasi terendah di wilayah Kabupaten Sumedang terdapat pada Puskesmas Wado dengan capaian dosis ketiga 1,39%. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Wado dengan sasaran responden berusia 18 tahun ke atas hingga lansia. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini 25,587 dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Metode Penelitian: Kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan langsung kepada responden. Pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dan disajikan dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi. Hasil Penelitian: Respoden yang memiliki persepsi positif 68% dan persepsi negatif 32%. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar masyarakat di Kecamatan Wado dari hasil penelitian memiliki persepsi positif dan sebagian kecil masyarakat memiliki persepsi negatif. Saran: Kepada semua masyarakat kecamatan Wado dapat memperoleh informasi dari sumber yang terpercaya untuk membantu membedakan antara informasi yang benar dan yang salah. The way to stop the spread of this virus is to develop a vaccine. The purpose of the study: To find out how the public's perception of booster vaccines in Wado District. Vaccination is the active use of vaccines to produce a person's immunity to the disease, however, the problem is that there are still many people who refuse to be vaccinated. News from various sources can affect people's perception of vaccines. Based on data from the Health Office, the lowest vaccination in the Sumedang Regency area was at the Wado Health Center with a third dose achievement of 1.39%. The study was conducted in Wado Subdistrict with the target of respondents aged 18 years and over to the elderly. The total population in this study was 25,587 with a sample of 100 respondents. Research Methods: Descriptive quantitative using questionnaires that are distributed directly to respondents. Data processing uses the SPSS application and is presented in the form of frequency distribution. Research Results: Respodenes who have a positive perception of 68% and a negative perception of 32%. Conclusion: Most of the people in Wado Subdistrict from the research results have positive perceptions and a small part of the community has negative perceptions. Suggestion: All people of Wado subdistrict can obtain information from reliable sources to help distinguish between true and false information.
