Abstract

Karakter pro lingkungan telah menjadi isu nasional dan regional. Namun faktanya, masih ditemukan karakter yang justru bertolak belakang, sehingga diperlukan upaya-upaya kontributif, tak terkecuali Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran PAI dalam menanamkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa pada lingkungan di sekolah, proses pelaksanaan pembudayaan amaliyah kesalehan terhadap lingkungan pada siswa di sekolah, dan menelaah perilaku siswa di sekolah dalam berinteraksi dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data menggunakan empat tahapan mulai dari pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, sampai kesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran PAI dalam menanamkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa pada lingkungan di SD IT Al-Amanah yaitu melalui budaya sekolah yang diwujudkan dengan program budaya hidup bersih dan Edupark sebagai bentuk amal saleh terhadap lingkungan. Pelaksanaan program ini dilaksanakan setiap hari dan membawa perubahan pada siswa karena siswa berhasil mempraktekkan amal saleh terhadap lingkungan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari mereka. Siswa juga memahami cara berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar mereka sebagai pengamalan dari ajaran Islam yang mereka pahami. The pro-environmental character has become a national and regional issue. But in fact, there are still contradictory characters, so that contribution efforts are needed, including Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to describe the role of PAI in instilling students' understanding and awareness of the environment in schools, the process of implementing pious amaliyah culture in students at school, and examining student behavior in schools in interacting with the environment. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation techniques with data analysis using four stages from collection, reduction, presentation, to conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the role of PAI in instilling understanding and awareness of students in the environment at SD IT Al-Amanah is through school culture which is realized by the clean living culture program and Edupark as a form of good deeds towards the environment. The implementation of this program is carried out every day and brings changes to students because students are successful in practicing good deeds towards the environment in their daily activities. Students also understand how to interact with their surroundings as a practice of the Islamic teachings they understand.
