Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, tidak mempunyai pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengangguran. Banyaknya konversi lahan dari tanaman hortikultura ke tanaman perkebunan karet, permintaan bibit karet unggul semakin meningkat. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah Bagaimana Model Kursus Wlrausaha Desa yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha warga belajar? Teori yang digunakan untuk mendukung penelitian ini adalah teori pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang dikembangkan Nadler dan Wiggs (1986); Andrew E. Sikula dalam Samsudin (2006); pembelajaran orang dewasa yang dikembangkan oleh Rogers dalam Hanafi (1980); dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dikembangkan Kindervatter (1976). Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) Model KWD Pembibitan karet unggul untuk meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha warga belajar di Desa Semuli Jaya Kecamatan Abung Semuli dan Desa Bumi Raharja Kecamatan Abung Surakarta, Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Penelitian korelasi sebagai penelitian pendahuluan dengan sampel 33 orang dan penelitian eksperimen dengan kuasi eksperimen sampel uji coba tahap I masing-masing 18 orang sampel untuk kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control dan uji coba tahap II masing-masing 20 orang sampel kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control. Uji efektivitas model t sampel independen dan mendeskripsikan informasi empiric dan uji coba model. Temuan hasil penelitian korelasi: terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan minat warga belajar, motivasi berprestasi, partisipasi warga belajar, kompetensi nara sumber teknis, kurikulum pelatihan, sarana dan prasarana, proses pembelajaran, dan lembaga penyelenggara terhadap peningkatan kompetensi berwirausaha, balk secara sendiri-sendiri ataupun bersama-sama. Kemudian dari hasil uji efektivitas model pada uji coba tahap I setelah pelatihan kelompok control mengalami kenaikan rata- rata 2,44 atau 3,94%, dan kelompokkontrol setelah pelatihan mengalami kenaikan skor rata-rata 5,88 atau 9,54%. Sedangkan pada uji coba tahap II setelah pelatihan, kelompok kontrol mengalami kenaikan skor rata-rata peningkatan kompetensi berwirausaha 9,35 atau 17,99% dan pada kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata kompetensi berwirausaha 18 atau 34,71%. Secara keseluruhan, bila dibandingkan baik uji coba eksperimen tahap I dan uji coba eksperimen tahap II terbukti model yang dikembangkan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model yang sudah ada. Berdasarkan temuan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model KWD pembibitan karet unggul untuk meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha warga belajar, secara empirik terbukti efektif. Rekomendasi yang diajukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha warga belajar, dapat dilakukan dengan melalui pelatihan dengan menggunakan model yang telah dikembangkan, untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan taraf hidup warga belajar. There are some issues in our community. Some of the issues are carried out in this research, such as the low level of public education, the unemployment and the lack of knowledge and skills. On the other hand, the number of horticultural lands converted to rubber plantations and the demand of the topmost rubber seeds have been increasing. In that case, the problem arising is 'What Kind of Rural Entrepreneurial Course Model that can increase the entrepreneurship competence of the learning community?' The theories used to support this research are a human resource development theory by Nadler and Wings (1986); Andrew E. Sikula in Samsudin (2006); an adult learning theory developed by Rogers in Hanafi (1980); and an empowerment by Kindervatter (1976). This research used a method called R & D (Research and Development) Model KWD for the topmost rubber seedling to improve the entrepreneurship competence of the learning community in Semuli Jaya Village of Abung Semuli Subdistrict and Bumi Raharja Village of Abung Surakarta Subdistrict in North Lampung Regency. A correlative research with 33 participants has been done as an introduction research, while an experiment research with a quasi —experimental study sample has been done in Phase try out with 18 participants for each of the experimental group and control group. In Phase II try out 20 samples for each of the experimental and the control group have been tested. The independent samples of t model has been tested for the effectiveness reason while empirical information of the model tried out has been described. The findings of the correlative research are positive and significant contribution of the learning community interest, achievement motivation, the learning community participants, the competence of technical resource people, training curricula, facilities and infrastructures, learning process and organizer agency toward the increase of entrepreneurship competence either individually or mutually. Then the after-training result of the effectiveness test model on the Phase I tryout showed that the control group has got score rise of 2.44 or 3.94% at average, while the experiment group has got the score rise of 5.88 or 9.54% at average. Then the after-training result of the Phase II tryout has got the score rise of 18 or 34.71% at average for entrepreneurship competence. If we compare the tryout of Phase 1 experiment and that of Phase II, it has been proved that the developed model is more effective than the previous one. The recommendation proposed to improve the entrepreneurship competence of the learning community can be carried out through trainings with the built on-model in order to increase the welfare and the standard life of the learning community
