Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan moral pada generasi muda yang semakin meningkat, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pengembangan kesadaran moral melalui organisasi kepemudaan Karang Taruna. Dari hal tersebut peneliti merumuskan lima masalah yang akan dikaji yaitu: 1). Apa materi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Karang Taruna untuk mengembangkan kesadaran moral pemuda? 2). Bagaimana metode Karang Taruna dalam mengembangkan kesadaran moral pemuda? 3). Nilai-nilai kesadaran moral apa yang dikembangkan melalui kegiatan Karang Taruna? 4). Kendala apa yang dihadapi Karang Tarunadalam mengembangkan kesadaran moral pemuda? 5). Bagaimana upaya untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi Karang Taruna dalam mengembangkan kesadaran moral pemuda?. Grand theory dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengenai kesadaran moral yang dikemukakan oleh Salam. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Karang Taruna Kampung Baru Kelurahan Cigending Kecamatan Ujung Berung Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan (field notes). Analisis data dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1). Materi kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi kegiatan keagamaan, kegiatan peduli lingkungan, kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dan pelayanan sosial, kegiatan seni dan budaya. 2). Metode yang digunakan seperti metode reward and punishment, metode keteladanan, metode nasihat. 3). Nilai-nilai kesadaran moral yang dikembangkan adalah nilai agama, nilai empati, nilai kemanusiaan, nilai kebersamaan, nilai tanggungjawab sosial, nilai gotong royong, nilai kerja keras, nilai seni, nilai budaya, dan nilai cinta tanah air. 4). Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi: faktor kendala internal seperti, minimnya motivasi dan kesibukkan sehari-hari para pemuda Karang Taruna. Faktor kendala eksternal seperti, keterbatasan dana dan fasilitas, belum optimalnya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, sulit mencari kader, serta latar belakang kehidupan para pemuda yang berbeda. 5). Upaya yang dilakukan adalah memberikan motivasi, melakukan pengkaderan, melakukan komunikasi dan koordinasi dengan berbagai pihak, melakukan upaya khusus seperti melaksanakan pengajian rutin dan pengajian umum. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the moral issues at increasingly young generation and complex , so the need to do an effort to develop moral awareness through youth clubs youth organizations . From this we propose five issues that will be studied are: 1). What material activities carried out by the youth to develop moral awareness of youth ? 2). How youth methods in developing moral consciousness of youth ? 3). The values of moral consciousness developed through the youth ? 4). Constraints faced what reef youth in develop moral awareness of youth ? 5). How efforts to overcome the obstacles faced by youth in develop moral awareness of youth ?. Grand theory in this study is about the moral consciousness proposed by Salam. In this study the authors used a qualitative approach to the case study method. The subjects were Kampung Baru Youth Village is located in the District Cigending Ujungberung Bandung. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation studies, literature studies, and field notes (field notes). Analysis of the data by using triangulation. The results obtained from this study are : 1). Material activities carried out religious activities include youth clubs, hygiene and environmental care activities, community service activities and social services, arts and cultural activities. 2). The methods used include providing motivation, reward and punishment method, an exemplary method, a method of advice, instill intrinsic motivation. 3). Values developed moral sense is the value of religion (religious), the value of empathy, human values , the value of togetherness (solideritas), the value of social responsibility, the value of mutual cooperation, the value of hard work, the value of art, cultural values, and the value of patriotism (nationalism). 4). Obstacles encountered include : factors such as internal constraints, lack of motivation of the young youth, the difficulty of dividing time between kesibukkan day -to-day activities in youth clubs. External factors such as constraints, limited funds, limited facilities, not optimal support from various parties, hard looking for a cadre, the unavailability of a special place, as well as the background of the young men a different life. 5). Efforts is to provide motivation, cadres , communication, and coordination between management and members youth clubs, village government and society, make special efforts such as implementing regular lectures and public lectures.
