Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan observasi pada saat kegiatan kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) dan praktek mata kuliah microteaching. Peneliti memperoleh suatu fenomena menarik yaitu ditemukannya siswa di kelas III yang berkesulitan belajar matematika khususnya mengenai operasi bilangan. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukannya sebuah program layanan bimbingan belajar yang merupakan sebuah kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara struktur dalam melayani dan membimbing siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam belajarnya. Adapun masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah sebuah rancangan program layanan bimbingan belajar yang dibutuhkan bagi siswa berkesulitan belajar matematika. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat rekomendasi program bimbingan belajar yang sesuai kebutuhan untuk siswa yang berkesulitan belajar matematika kelas III di SD Negeri Tapos 2. Karena dalam kegiatan pembelajaran saat di kelas, masih terdapat siswa yang masih belum memahami konsep dasar operasi bilangan serta belum dapat membedakan simbol operasi dalam sebuah kalimat matematika. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data dan informasi melalui pengamatan dan narasumber secara langsung. Dari hasil temuan yang telah dianalisis, bahwa siswa yang berkesulitan belajar matematika membutuhkan suatu layanan bimbingan belajar yang di dalamnya berupa program bulanan layanan bimbingan belajar berbentuk matriks, serta evaluasi soal. Sehingga proses kegiatan pembelajaran bagi siswa yang berkesulitan belajar matematika dapat dilayani dan berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. The background of this research is based on observations during Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) and practice of microteaching courses. Researchers found an interesting phenomenon, namely the discovery of students in class III who have difficulty learning mathematics, especially regarding number operations. Therefore, it is necessary to have a tutoring service program which is an activity carried out structurally in serving and guiding students who are still having difficulties in learning. The problem discussed in this thesis is the design of the tutoring service program needed for students with learning difficulties in mathematics. The purpose of this study is to make recommendations for tutoring programs according to the needs for students who have difficulty learning math class III at SD Negeri Tapos 2. Because in the process of learning activities in class, there are still students who still do not understand the basic concepts of number operations and cannot distinguish operational symbols in a mathematical sentence. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method. This method is carried out with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain data and information through direct observations and sources. From the findings that have been analyzed, that students who have learning difficulties in mathematics need a tutoring service which includes a monthly program of tutoring services in the form of a matrix, as well as evaluation of questions. So that the process of learning activities for students who have difficulty learning mathematics can be served and run well according to their needs.
