Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberhasilan warga belajar keaksaraan usaha mandiri yang dikelola oleh PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri mengalami kemajuan baik dari segi jumlah warga belajarnya dan sudah ada yang membuka usaha sendiri, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya sehari-hari dan keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan program Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri (KUM) dalam meningkatkan status ekonomi keluarga warga belajar di PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri, 2) Mendeskripsikan motivasi warga belajar dalam mengikuti program Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri (KUM) di PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri, 3) Mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dari program Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri (KUM) di PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa. 1) Penerapan keaksaraan usasha mandiri (KUM) di PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri melalui proses langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan status ekonomi keluarga warga belajar, 2) Motivasi warga belajar mengikuti program (KUM) untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang kewirausahaan membuat makanan aneka keripik dari hasil pertanian, yang dapat dijadikan bekal untuk meningkatkan status ekonomi keluarga agar bisa merintis usaha. 3) Faktor pendukung dalam program keaksaraan usaha mandiri (KUM) adalah adanya support pemerintah dari berbagai aspek yang dibutuhkan PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri dan faktor penghambat nya warga yang kurang paham akan materi, lalu ada saja warga belajar yang masih susah untuk hadir dalam kelas pembelajaran yang telah di jadwalkan dikarenakan warga belajar bentrok jadwal dengan bekerja atau bertani Kata Kunci : Keaksaraan usaha mandiri, peningkatan status ekonomi ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the success of citizens learning literacy, independent businesses managed by PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri have progressed both in terms of the number of learning residents and some have opened their own businesses, so they can meet their daily needs and family. The aims of this study are to: 1) describe the application of the Independent Business Literacy (KUM) program in improving the economic status of the families of learning residents at PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri, 2) Describe the motivation of learning citizens in participating in the Independent Business Literacy program (KUM) at PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri, 3) Describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the Independent Business Literacy (KUM) program at PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. In this study it can be concluded that. 1) Implementation of independent business literacy (KUM) in PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri through a process of steps to improve the economic status of the families of learning residents, 2) Motivation of learning residents to follow the program (KUM) to gain knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship to make various chips from the results agriculture, which can be used as a provision to improve the family's economic status so that they can start a business. 3) The supporting factors in the independent business literacy program (KUM) are the government support from various aspects needed by PKBM Bina Terampil Mandiri and the inhibiting factor is residents who do not understand the material, then there are learning residents who are still difficult to attend in the learning class. has been scheduled because residents learn clashing schedules with work or farming Keywords: Self-employment literacy, improvement of economic status
