Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi ekstrakurikuler eco mapping di SMA Negeri 22 Bandung dalam penguatan karakter tanggung jawab pada peserta didik. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Kurikulum 2013 diterapkan pemerintah sebagai kurikulum perbaikan dan diharapkan mampu memberikan formasi pendidikan yang lebih baik. Dalam Kurikulum 2013 dirancang sebuah penguatan pendidikan karakter yang memprioritaskan peserta didik agar memiliki rasa tanggung jawab dan pemahaman dalam berperilaku dalam masyarakat. Karakter tanggung jawab merupakan salah satu dari 18 nilai dalam pendidikan karakter yang menekankan pada karakter tanggung jawab terutama terhadap lingkungan.SMA Negeri 22 Bandung merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memiliki ekstrakurikuler eco mapping yang dimana implementasi kegiatannya memiliki tujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang sehat, bersih dan nyaman. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Implementasi ekstrakurikuler eco mapping untuk meningkatkan civic responsibility pada siswa dimana dalam pelaksanannya terdapat keterkaitan antara visi dan misi eksktrakurikuler dan sekolah sehingga dalam pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler ini sudah berjalan dengan cukup baik dan menghasilkan dampak baik terutama terhadap lingkungan di SMA Negeri 22 Bandung (2) Fakta dan data yang ditemukan di lapangan terhadap pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler eco mapping yaitu dengan adanya program unggulan yakni Program SEBATIK (Sekolah Sehat Bebas Plastik) yang terdiri dari dua subprogram yaitu Zona Keren dan Gerakan 1000 Sedotan Stainless Steel (3) Faktor kendala dalam pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler eco mapping yakni kurangnya minat dari siswa untuk bergabung menjadi anggota ekstrakurikuler dan masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang membuang sampah tidak pada tempatnya (4) Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler eco mapping yakni dengan melakukan perekrutan, sosialisasi dan edukasi secara berkesinambungan. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Pendidikan Karakter, Civic Responsibility, Peserta Didik This research aims to determine the implementation of eco mapping extracurricular at SMA Negeri 22 Bandung in strengthening the character of responsibility in students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The 2013 curriculum is implemented by the government as an improvement curriculum and is expected to be able to provide better educational formation. In the 2013 curriculum, a strengthening character education is designed that prioritizes students to have a sense of responsibility and understanding in behaving in the community. The character of responsibility is one of the 18 values in character education that emphasizes awareness of the environment. SMA Negeri 22 Bandung is one of the schools that has an eco mapping extracurricular where the implementation of its activities aims to create a healthy, clean and comfortable school environment. The work program in this extracurricular is developed by the school by carrying out several activities that must be followed by all students. That is the element of Responsibility Character Education which is a good habit in everyday life. The results obtained of this research are (1) the implementation of eco mapping extracurricular to increase civic responsibility in students where in its implementation there is a link between the vision and mission of the extracurricular and the school so that the implementation of this extracurricular has been going quite well and has produced a good impact, especially on the environment in SMA Negeri 22 Bandung (2) Facts and data found in the field on the implementation of eco mapping extracurriculars, namely the existence of a superior program namely the SEBATIK Program (Plastic-Free Healthy Schools) which consists of two subprograms, namely the Cool Zone and the 1000 Stainless Steel Straws Movement (3) Constraint factors in the implementation of eco mapping extracurriculars are the lack of interest from students to join extracurricular members and there are still some students who throw garbage out of place (4) Efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of eco mapping extracurriculars are by doing recruitment, socialization and education on an ongoing basis.
