Abstract
Kata kunci: Adolf Hitler, Schutzstaffel, Indoktrinasi, Psikologi Sosial Skripsi ini berjudul “PERANAN ADOLF HITLER DALAM PERKEMBANGAN SCHUTZSTAFFEL (1925-1945): Suatu Perspektif Psikologi Sosial”. Penelitian ini merupakan perwujudan akan ketertarikan penulis mengenai kajian pengaruh aspek psikologi sosial Adolf Hitler terhadap pengorganisasian para pemuda dan sukarelawan ke dalam pasukan Schutzstaffel, serta peranan dari Schutzstaffel sendiri dalam Drittes Reich yang dibangun Adolf Hitler. Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam skripsi ini adalah mengapa Schutzstaffel menjalankan peranan yang tidak sebagaimana lazimnya tentara?. Masalah utama tersebut kemudian dibagi menjadi tiga pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu 1) Apa yang melatarbelakangi dibentuknya Schutzstaffel?; 2) Bagaimana pengaruh aspek psikologi sosial Adolf Hitler terhadap pengakomodasian pemuda/sukarelawan ke dalam Schutzstaffel (1925-1945) ?; dan 3) Bagaimana pengaruh aspek psikologi sosial Adolf Hitler terhadap peranan Schutzstaffel?. Secara umum, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji kaitan peranan Schutzstaffel dengan sosok Adolf Hitler. Dalam artian terdapat faktor khusus yang dimunculkan dan didoktrinkan khusus oleh Hitler terhadap prajurit Schutzstaffel, sehingga prajurit Schutzstaffel mempunyai peranan yang tidak hanya mengawal para petinggi Partai Nazi dan berperang di lapangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis dengan melakukan empat langkah penelitian, yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, historiografi. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data digunakan teknik studi literatur, yakni mengkaji sumber-sumber literatur yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang dikaji penulis. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan interdisipliner dengan mengambil konsep peranan dari ilmu antropologi; konsep indoktrinasi, dari ilmu politik/psikologi massa; teori kekerasan dan agresi, dari ilmu sosiologi, serta perspektif disiplin psikologi sosial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis mendapatkan beberapa kesimpulan. Pertama, Schutzstaffel dibentuk berkaitan dengan ambisi pribadi Adolf Hitler untuk menaklukkan Eropa dan aspek psikologi sosialnya terkait dengan dendamnya terhadap kaum Yahudi. Sedangkan ambisi politiknya mendorong gagasan Lebensraum dan visi negara Jerman Raya; Kedua, kondisi masyarakat yang tidak menentu akibat krisis multidimensi jika dikaitkan dengan psikologi sosial merupakan peluang bagi seorang yang ingin muncul ke depan, baik untuk ambisi pribadi maupun murni untuk menyelamatkan rakyat dari kebingungan. Adolf Hitler merupakan sosok yang mampu menghidupkan harapan masyarakat akan kestabilan umum, serta terutama para pemuda dengan propaganda dan indoktrinasinya atas nama negara Jerman Raya; Ketiga, pengaruh aspek psikologi sosial Adolf Hitler mempengaruhi terhadap peranan yang dijalankan oleh prajurit Schutzstaffel, terutama ketika Hitler menjadi kanselir dan führer. Di antaranya adalah kekejaman prajurit Schutzstaffel dalam Perang Dunia II, Lebensborn, dan Holocaust. Keyword: Adolf Hitler, Schutzstaffel, Indoctrination, Social Psychology This study was entitled THE ROLE OF ADOLF HITLER IN THE SCHUTZSTAFFEL EXPANSION (1925-1945) ”A Term Of Social Psychology Perspective”. This study was kind of realization for the researcher toward the influences of social psychological aspect of Adolf Hitler toward the oragization for youth and the volunteer to be Schutzstaffel warrior, and also the role of Schutzstaffel it self toward Drittes Reich that has been built by Adolf Hitler. There was a question which is to be the main problem of this study, why the Schutzstaffel running the role was not as commonly as the army?, the main problem above was devided into three research point questions, such as 1) What lies behind or the background of the creation of Schutzstaffel?; 2) How the influenced of social psychological aspect of Adolf Hitler toward accomodating youth and the volunteer into the Schutzstaffel warrior (1925-1945)?; and 3) How the influeced of social psychological aspect of Adolf Hitler toward the role of Schutzstaffel?. The method that used for this study is historical method which is devided into four steps namely, heuristic research, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. While the data collection techniques used literature studies technique. The approach that used to complement this study was interdisciplinary approach by taking the concept of the role from the science of anthropology, the concept of indoctrination, also from political science/ psychology of the masses; the violence and agrression theory, from the the science of sociology and discipline of social psychology perspective. Based on the research above, the researcher found some conclusion. First, Schutzstaffel was formed related on personal ambition of Adolf Hitler to conquer Europe and the social psychological aspects related with his reverenge againts the Jews. While his ambition encouraged Lebensraum idea dan the vision of the Great Germany. Second, the condition of society as a result of uncertain because of multidimensional crisis, if it associated with social psychology these was an opportunity for a person or someone who wants to come forward, either for personal or pure ambition to save people from the confusion. Adolf Hitler is a figure who who is able to turn on the stability of the general community expectations, especially the youth with the propaganda and his indoctrination in the name of for the Great Germany. Third, the influence of spychological aspectwas affecting the role of Adolf Hitler that carried by the soldiers of Schutzstaffel, especially when Hitler became chancellor and führer. Among them were the cruelty of Schutzstaffel in World War II, Lebensborn, dan Holocaust.
