Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya sarana untuk melakukan studi langsung ke lapangan dan ditambah kondisi yang kurang mendukung untuk berpergian akibat dari dampak covid-19. Setelah melakukan observasi ke sekolah dan mengulik permasalahan seputar pembelajaran IPS di SD khususnya materi Keberagaman Budaya Indonesia di kelas IV didapati bahwa guru di masa pandemi ini hanya memberikan media berupa video pembelajaran untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu penunjang pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pembelajaran IPS. Lalu, diketahui juga bahwa di daerah tempat sekolah yang akan dijadikan sebagai tempat penelitian tidak banyak terdapat sarana yang dapat dijadikan sebagai tempat untuk belajar khususnya untuk pembelajaran IPS contohnya yaitu museum. Penelitian ini difokuskan kepada Rancang Bangun Media pembelajaran IPS di SD pada materi Keberagaman Budaya Indonesia dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran PowerPoint. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mendesain sebuah media pembelajaran museum dalam bentuk virtual yang berbasis edutainment untuk pembelajaran IPS. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Design and Development (D&D) dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan model penelitian N.J Manson. Penelitian ini melibatkan partisipan yang meliputi ahli media, ahli materi, guru dan peserta didik kelas 4 sekolah dasar. Dari hasil expert judgment dari ahli media, rancangan dan desain media pembelajaran ini mendapat persentase 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Dan dari ahli materi mendapat persentase 78% dengan kategori “Baik”. Lalu, dari hasil penilaian guru mendapat persentase 93,35% dan hasil penilaian peserta didik mendapat persentase 96,95%, keduanya dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. ----- This research was motivated by the lack of facilities to carry out direct studies in the field and the added conditions that were not conducive to traveling as a result of the impact of covid-19. After making observations to schools and exploring the problems surrounding social studies learning in elementary schools, especially the material on Indonesian Cultural Diversity in grade IV, it was found that teachers during this pandemic only provided media in the form of learning videos to be used as one of the learning supports, especially in social studies subjects. Then, it is also known that in the area where the school will be used as a place of research, there are not many facilities that can be used as a place for learning, especially for social studies learning, for example, a museum. This research is focused on the design of social studies learning media in elementary schools on the material of Indonesian cultural diversity using PowerPoint learning media. The purpose of this research is to design a museum learning media in a virtual form based on edutainment for social studies learning. This research design uses Design and Development (D&D) with descriptive qualitative research methods and uses NJ Manson's research model. This study involved participants including media experts, material experts, teachers and fourth grade elementary school students. From the results of expert judgment from media experts, the design of this learning media got a percentage of 90% with the "Very Good" category. And from material experts got 78% in the "Good" category. Then, from the results of the assessment, from the teacher got a percentage of 93.35% and the results of the assessment from the students got a percentage of 96.95%, both of which were categorized as "Very Good".
