Abstract
Tesis ini berjudul “Penggunaan Metronom Lampu Untuk Meningkatkan Koodinasi Gerak Tari Siswa Tunarungu”. Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada pengalaman dilapangan bahwa siswa tunarungu mempunyai kesulitan menari mengikuti irama, dan terlihat kaku ketika menari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan metronom lampu dalam meningkatkan aspek koordinasi gerak tari, yang meliputi: 1) Ketepatan koordinasi gerak tari dengan irama, 2) Keselarasan koordinasi gerak tari dengan irama. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B. Subjek penelitiannya adalah DK siswa tunarungu berusia 10 tahun 11 bulan yang duduk di kelas 5, beserta FD berusia 11 tahun 7 bulan yang duduk di kelas 6 SDLB Hasrat Mulia Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kedua aspek koordinasi gerak tari pada masing-masing subyek. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perubahan tampilan grafik pada tahapan baseline ke tahapan intervensi dengan level yang baik. Grafik aspek ketepatan koordinasi gerak pada tahapan baseline menaik yang berarti sebaliknya atau memburuk (-), kemudian pada tahapan intervensi menurun atau membaik (+). Sedangkan grafik aspek keselarasan koordinasi gerak pada tahapan baseline menurun/memburuk (-), kemudian pada tahapan intervensi menaik/membaik (+). Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metronom lampu dapat meningkatkan koordinasi gerak tari siswa tunarungu dengan irama. Metronom lampu dapat menjadi media pembelajaran alternatif dalam membantu guru meningkatkan koordinasi gerak pada siswa tunarungu. Kata kunci: koordinasi gerak tari ABSTRACT This thesis entitled "The Use of Light Metronome to Improve the Coordination of the Motion of Dance of Students with Hearing Impairment". The study is based on the fact that students with hearing impairment have difficulty in dancing to the rhythm. The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of a metronome lights in improving the coordination aspects of dance motion, which includes: 1) The accuracy of dance motion coordination with the rhythm, 2) The harmony of dance motion coordination with the rhythm. The research method used is a Single Subject Research (SSR) with AB research design. The subjects of the study were DK, a 10 years and 11 months child with hearing impairmaent who studied at grade 5 of SDLB Hasrat Mulia, along with FD, an 11 years and 7 months child with hearing impairment who studied at grade 6 of SDLB Hasrat Mulia. The results of the study showed an increase in both aspects of dance motion coordination in each subject. It can be seen from the chart display changes in the baseline stage to interventions in a good level.The graphic display on the accuracy of the dance motion at baseline stage was ascending, that means the opposite or worsening (-), whereas at the intervention stage the graphic display was descending or improved (+). The graphic display on the harmony of the dance motion at baseline stage was ascending, that means the opposite or worsening (-), whereas at the intervention stage the graphic display was descending or improved (+). Therefore, this study proves that the use of light metronome can improve the coordination of the motion of dance to the rhythm of students with hearing impairment. The light metronome can be an alternative learning media in helping teachers improve the coordination of motion to the rhythm on students with hearing impairment.
