Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja di Kota Bandung termasuk dalam pengguna internet tertinggi. Di sisi lain, pada usia remaja perkembangan seksualitas baik secara fisik ataupun Hasrat seksual terjadi, ditambah dengan adanya hubungan khusus antar remaja menjadikan sekat antara ruang privat dan umum menjadi bias. Melalui akses berbagai aplikasi media chatting menjadi awal dari adanya fenomena post a picture foto atau video area privat ini. Terdapat dua motif remaja melakukan post a picture area privat yaitu motif saling berbagi dengan sukarela dan motif paksaan. Fenomena ini merupakan salah satu bentuk cyber deviance karena mengarah pada pelecehan virtual dalam ruang digital. Fenomena ini dapat dikatakan sebagai cyber crime apabila foto atau video dari tindakan tersebut disebar luas di media sosial. Fenomena tersebut memiliki beberapa faktor penyebab, di antaranya kurangnya pemahaman nilai dan norma, serta ketaatan dalam beragama. Hal tersebut juga imbas dari kurangnya kontrol diri, pengawasan orang tua, akses internet yang bebas, dan lingkungan yang tidak baik pada remaja. Dampak negatif yang disebabkan akibat fenomena tersebut juga dialami oleh pelaku atau pemberi, baik dari segi psikis maupun sanksi di kehidupan sosialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan menggunakan teknik analisis eksplanatif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berusaha untuk menunjukan faktor penyebab dan sejauh mana pemahaman remaja terhadap cyber crime dan cyber deviance melalui fenomena post a picture area privat. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi stimulus dan penyadaran kepada masyarakat khususnya remaja bahwa fenomena tersebut membutuhkan penguatan secara holistik agar fenomena tersebut dapat ditangani dengan optimal. At the age of adolescence, the development of sexuality both physically and sexual desire occurs, coupled with the existence of special relationships between adolescents, making the partition between private and public spaces biased. There are two motives for teenagers to post a picture photo or video of private area, namely the motive of sharing voluntarily and the motive of coercion. This phenomenon is a form of cyber deviance because it leads to virtual harassment in the digital space. This phenomenon can be said to be a cyber crime if photos or videos of these actions are widely distributed on social media. This phenomenon has several contributing factors, including a lack of understanding of values and norms, as well as religious observance. This is also the impact of a lack of self-control, parental supervision, free internet access, and a bad environment for teenagers. The negative impact caused by this phenomenon is also experienced by the perpetrator or the giver, both in terms of psychology and sanctions in their social life. This study uses a quantitative research approach with survey methods and uses explanatory analysis techniques. Thus, this study seeks to show the causal factors and the extent to which adolescents understand cyber crime and cyber deviance through the phenomenon of post a picture private area. This article is expected to be a stimulus and awareness to the public, that this phenomenon requires holistic reinforcement so that this phenomenon can be handled optimally.
