    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh political connection terhadap tingkat debt financing dan cost of debt pada perusahaan sektor manufaktur periode 2018 hingga 2019. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel 102 perusahaan dari 178 perusahaan manufaktur. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan. Tingkat debt financing diukur menggunakan debt to asset ratio, tingkat cost of debt diukur menggunakan persentase beban bunga, dan political connection diukur menggunakan variabel dummy. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 25. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa political connection berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat debt financing dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap cost of debt.
