Abstract
Beban listrik terdiri dari beban linier dan non linier. Meningkatnya penggunaan beban non linier seperti motor induksi, penyearah, dan ballast elektronik dapat menimbulkan gangguan yang disebut harmonisa. Harmonisa merupakan suatu gelombang sinusoidal dengan frekuensi yang merupakan kelipatan bulat dari frekuensi dasarnya. Harmonisa dapat menimbulkan pemanasan lebih pada transformator, kegagalan kapasitor, kesalahan pada alat ukur listrik dan lainnya. penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran tingkat kandungan harmonisa tegangan dan arus pada beberapa jenis beban listrik. Filter pasif harmonisa bertujuan untuk mengurangi kandungan harmonisa tersebut. Hasil pengukuran terhadap rangkaian percobaan menunjukkan bahwa filter pasif single tuned berhasil menurunkan THDi dari 60,3% menjadi 58,7% dengan filter orde tiga, 40,4% dengan filter orde lima dan 37,7% dengan penggabungan keduanya. Walaupun belum bisa memenuhi standar IEEE 519-1992 yang ditetapkan yaitu 5%. Namun hasil dapat dikatakan sudah mendekati harapan yaitu dapat menurunkan tingkat harmonisa. Kata kunci: beban linier dan non linier, THDi, single tuned filter, IEEE 519-1992 Electrical load consists of linear and non- linear loads. The increasing use of non- linear loads such as induction motors, rectifier, and electronic ballasts may cause interference called harmonics. Harmonics is a sinusoidal wave with a frequency which is an integer multiple of the frequency basis. Harmonics can cause more heating in transformers, capacitor failures, faults in electrical and other measuring devices. This study measured the levels of voltage and current harmonics on some type of electrical load. Passive harmonic filter aims to reduce the harmonic content. The results of measurements on a series of experiments showed that the single- tuned passive filters THDi successfully lowered from 60.3 % to 58.7 % with three -order filter, the filter order of 40.4 % and 37.7 % with five merging the two. Although it has not been able to meet the IEEE 519-1992 standard set at 5%. But the results can be said to have approached the hope that it can reduce the level of harmonics.
