Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji integrasi life skills ke dalam program latihan olahraga. Peserta penelitian ini adalah anak remaja yang berusia 14 -19 tahun, sebanyak 22 remaja (22 orang dibagi menjadi 11 remaja yang memperoleh program Life Skills dan 11 remaja hanya diberikan program latihan olahraga biasa tanpa muatan life skills). Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan (intactgroup) Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan model (Quasi-experiment) dan desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen dari Cronin dan Allen (2017) dengan delapan lifeskills yang diajarkan dalam program latihan olahraga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Program olahraga yang diintegrasikan dengan life skills secara terstruktur dan disengaja memberikan pengaruh terhadap life skills anak remaja LPKA Sukamiskin Kota Bandung dalam rangka positive youth development dengan terdapat peningkatan komponen life skills yang paling tinggi pada kelompok terintegrasi life skills adalah kepemimpinan dengan rata-rata perkembangan sebesar 1,25.. Sedangkan komponen life skills yang mengalami peningkatan paling tinggi pada kelompok nonintegrasi life skills adalah kecakapan emosional dengan rata-rata perkembangan sebesar 0,70. Kesimpulan, pemberian program olahraga yang terintegrasi dengan life skills secara terstruktur dan disengaja terbukti mampu mengembangkan life skills serta lebih unggul meningkatkan perkembangan life skills anak remaja LPKA dibandingkan dengan program olahraga yang tidak secara terstruktur dan disengaja diintegrasikan dengan life skills. The participants of this study were teenagers aged 14 -19 years, as many as 22 teenagers (22 people divided into 11 teenagers who received the Life Skills program and 11 teenagers were only given a regular exercise program without life skills). Sampling used in this study using (intactgroup). The method used is experimental with a model (quasi-experiment) and research design using pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study indicate that a sports program that is integrated with life skills in a structured and deliberate manner has an influence on the life skills of teenagers at LPKA Sukamiskin Bandung City in the context of positive youth development with the highest increase in life skills components in the integrated life skills group is leadership with an average The average development is 1.25. Meanwhile, the component of life skills that has the highest increase in the non-integrated life skills group is emotional skills with an average development of 0.70. In conclusion, the provision of sports programs that are integrated with life skills in a structured and deliberate manner is proven to be able to develop life skills and is superior in improving the development of life skills for LPKA teenagers compared to sports programs that are not structured and intentionally integrated with life skills.
