Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan dalam film Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982 oleh karakter pria dan wanita dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, serta pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan catat dari film. Klasifikasi tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan sesuai dengan teori dari Searle dan Vanderveken yaitu meminta maaf, berterima kasih, berbela sungkawa, mengucapkan selamat, mengeluh, meratap, memprotes, menyesalkan, menyombong, menyanjung, memuji, menyambut, dan menyapa. Sumber penelitian ini adalah film film Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 dan data penelitian adalah tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan di dalam dialog film. Validasi data menggunakan cara triangulasi dan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat 74 tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan di dalam film, yaitu terdiri dari 22 tuturan disampaikan oleh pria dan 52 tuturan disampaikan oleh wanita, serta semua klasifikasi tuturan ditemukan kecuali tuturan berbela sungkawa, (2) karakter pria lebih banyak menggunakan tindak tutur ekspresif untuk menunjukan perasaan negatif, sementara karakter wanita lebih banyak menggunakan tuturan positif, (3) tindak tutur ekspresif disampaikan oleh karakter pria dengan cara kesal, marah, bersedih, bersemangat, kecewa, menyindir, bangga, terkejut, menyesal, dan takjub. Karakter wanita menggunakan tuturan ekspresif dengan cara senang, sedih, mengeluh, kecewa, yakin, terkejut, panik, heran, tidak enak hati, bangga, kesal, menyindir, dan marah. This research aims to analyze the use of expressive speech act used by the male and female characters in the movie Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982 which uses qualitative descriptive method, along with observation and note taking methods from the movie. The classification of expressive speech act by Searle and Vanderveken which are apologizing, thanking, condoling, congratulating, complaining, lamenting, protesting, deploring, boasting, complimenting, praising, welcoming, and greeting are used for this research. The source of this research is the movie Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 and the research data are expressive speech acts used in the movie dialogue. Triangulation method is used for data validation and the result of this research are (1) there are 74 expressive speech acts found in the movie, which consist of 22 utterances conveyed by male characters and 52 utterances are conveyed by female characters, furthermore all expressive speech act classifications were found except condole, (2) male characters used expressive speech acts in more negative ways, while female characters used more positive ways, (3) expressive speech act delivered by male characters in various emotions such as annoyed, angry, sad, excited, disappointed, sarcastic, proud, surprised, regretful, and amazed. Meanwhile female characters delivered the speech act while being happy, sad, complaining, disappointed, convinced, surprised, panicked, uneasy, proud, annoyed, sarcastic, and angry.
