Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peer attachment dengan celebrity worship remaja penggemar K-Pop di Kota Bandung. Responden berjumlah 403 orang merupakan penggemar K-Pop di Kota Bandung yang dipilih menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment digunakan untuk mengukur kelekatan seseorang dengan teman sebaya, sedangkan Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) digunakan untuk mengukur tingkatan seseorang mengenai celebrity worship, dan telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara peer attachment dan celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar K-Pop di Kota Bandung. Selain ini, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggemar K-Pop di Kota bandung cenderung didominasi oleh perempuan, dengan umur 21 tahun, dan boyband cenderung banyak digemari. Kata Kunci: celebrity worship, peer attachment, penggemar K-Pop, remaja. This study aims to see a relationship between peer attachment and celebrity worship. Respondents are about 403 K-Pop fans in Bandung, and collected by online with incidental sampling technique which was distributed through a questionnaire. The instruments of this research are Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) for measuring peer attachment, and Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) for measuring a level of someone’s celebrity worship which adapted to Indonesian. The results of the study shows that peer attachment has no relationship with celebrity worship in adolescent fans K-Pop in bandung. Other than that, the results of this study found that most of fans of K-Pop in Bandung are female, with 21 years old, and most of them are a fans of boyband.
