Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memecahkan masalah belum maksimalnya tingkat kinerja karyawan Bank Jabar Banten Cabang Karawang melalui pengujian teori yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja dan adanya pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 variabel, yaitu Motivasi Kerja (X1) dengan Dimensi Tanggung Jawab, Tugas dan Target, Tujuan Menantang, Umpan Balik, dan Rasa Senang; Kompetensi (X2) dengan dimensi Pengetahuan (Knowlegde), Pemahaman (Understanding), Nilai (Value) Kemampuan (Skill), Sikap (attitude), dan Minat (interest); dan Kinerja Karyawan (Y) dengan dengan dimensi Kualitas, Kuantitas, Ketetapan Waktu, Efektivitas, dan Kemandirian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada 53 karyawan sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi ganda dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif tingkat motivasi kerja terhadap tingkat kinerja karyawan. Terdapat pengaruh postif tingkat kompetensi terhadap tingkat kinerja karyawan. Terdapat pengaruh secara simultan tingkat motivasi dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Kerja, Kompetensi dan Kinerja Karyawan “EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION AND COMPETENCE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT BANK JABAR BANTEN KARAWANG BRANCH. ANGGUN PERTIWI, 1707650, UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION INDONESIA. 2021 ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to solve the problem that the level of employee performance of Bank Jabar Banten Karawang Branch has not been maximized through theoretical testing which states that there is an influence of work motivation on performance and the influence of competence on performance. This study consists of 3 variables, namely Work Motivation (X1) with the Dimensions of Responsibility, Tasks and Targets, Challenging Goals, Feedback, and Pleasure; Competence (X2) with dimensions of Knowledge (Knowlegde), Understanding (Understanding), Value (Value) Ability (Skill), Attitude (attitude), and Interest (interest); and Employee Performance (Y) with the dimensions of Quality, Quantity, Timeliness, Effectiveness, and Independence. The research method used is an explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to 53 employees as respondents. The data analysis technique and hypothesis testing used multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS 24 application. The results of the study concluded that there was a positive influence on the level of work motivation on the level of employee performance. There is a positive effect of the level of competence on the level of employee performance. There is a simultaneous influence of the level of motivation and competence on employee performance.
