Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rumusan program Creative Chacarter Training (CCT) untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam membimbing kreativitas anak TK. CCT ini diterapkan secara daring dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) introduction, (2) creativity fitness exercise, (3) workshop, (4) creativity thinking test, dan (5) theoritical reflection. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan Embedded Mixed Methods Design, dengan fase kualitatif dan kuantitatif pada awal pengumpulan, diikuti dengan fase analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan fase terakhir yaitu integrasi atau penautan data dari dua untai data. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 orang guru dan 34 anak TK B di Kecamatan Coblong, Kota Bandung. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri atas tahapan (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) penyusunan program Creative Character Training (CCT), (3) uji ahli, dan (4) uji lapangan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest, posttest, angket dan dokumentasi. Adapun kisi-kisi yang digunakan untuk menilai kreativitas guru merujuk pada penilaian kreativitas dari Peterson&Seligmen, 2004. Sedangkan kisi-kisi penilaian kreativitas anak TK merujuk pada indikator kreativitas dari Kaufman (2012). Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi analisis data kualitatif dan kunatitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil awal karakter kreatif masih belum sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh guru TK di Kecamatan Coblong terlihat dari sebagian besar jawaban responden yang belum mampu berpikir divergen, mengkategorisasi, memecahkan masalah, dan menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah. CCT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas guru Taman Kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Coblong Kota Bandung. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari adanya peningkatan hasil uji pretest dan posttest peserta dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,75 yang menunjukkan tingkat signifikansi gain dalam kategori tinggi. Hambatan dalam penelitian dapat terlihat dari aspek teknis pelaksanaan, sarana dan prasarana, penerapan kepada anak , dan serta kompetensi peserta pelatihan. This study aims to produce the formulation of the Creative Character Training (CCT) program to increase the creativity of teachers in guiding the creativity of kindergarten children. This CCT was implemented online with the following steps: (1) introduction, (2) creativity fitness exercise, (3) workshop, (4) creativity thinking test, and (5) theoretical reflection. This study used mixed methods with Embedded Mixed Methods Design. Qualitative and quantitative phases was used at the beginning of the collection, followed by qualitative and quantitative data analysis phases with the last phase being integration or linking of data from two data strands. The participants in this study were 13 teachers and 34 students of Kindergarten level B in Coblong District, Bandung City. This research procedure consisted of stages (1) preliminary study, (2) preparation of Creative Character Training (CCT) program, (3) expert test, and (4) field test. The instruments used in this study were pretest, posttest, questionnaire, and documentation. The grid used to assess the creativity of teachers refers to the creativity assessment from Peterson & Seligmen, 2004. While the grid for assessing the creativity of kindergarten children refers to the creativity indicator from Kaufman (2012). Data analysis techniques carried out include qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study indicated that the initial profile of creative characters is still not fully owned by kindergarten teachers in Coblong District as seen from most of the respondents' answers who have not been able to think divergently, categorize, solve problems, and produce scientific papers. CCT is proven to be effective in improving the creative character of Kindergarten teachers in Coblong District, Bandung City. This can be seen from the increase in the results of the pretest and posttest participants with an N-Gain of 0.75 which indicated a significant level of gain in the high category. Obstacles in research can be seen from the technical aspects of implementation, facilities and infrastructure, application to children, and the competence of training participants.
