Abstract

Energi merupakan suatu komponen yang penting di dunia. Salah satu peran dari energi terdapat di industri yaitu dibutuhkan energi listrik sebagai penggerak mesin-mesin produksi. Konsumsi energi yang terus menerus menjadi perhatian dunia. Untuk menjaga kelestarian bumi kita harus bijak dalam penerapan energi. Literasi terhadap energi merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, literasi terhadap energi dipelajari di dunia pendidikan, salah satunya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Dunia Pendidikan sangat berperan dalam menumbuhkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tingkah laku tentang energi, istilah tersebut disebut dengan literasi energi. Oleh karena itu, dilakukanlah penelitian tentang literasi energi siswa SMK aspek pengetahuan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan data yang diperoleh menggunakan survei melalui kuisioner yang melibatkan 377 responden. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut terdapat literasi energi siswa SMK aspek pengetahuan sebesar 11,36. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan tingkat literasi energi aspek pengetahuan masih tergolong rendah. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan literasi energi aspek pengetahuan pada perbedaan kompetensi keahlian dan gender. Sedangkan, pada kelompok tingkatan kelas terdapat perbedaan namun dengan simpangan yang tidak terlalu signifikan. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi gambaran dan peningkatan Kembali literasi energi siswa SMK aspek pengetahuan. One of the role from energy found at industry, which requires electrical energy for production machines. Energy consumption continues to be a worldwide concern. To preserve the earth we must be wise in the application of energy. Literacy on energy is an important thing for society. Therefore, energy literacy is studied in educational institution, one of which is in Vocational High Schools. In education a very important role in growing knowledge, attitudes, and behavior about energy, the term is called energy literacy. Therefore, a research was conducted on the energy literacy of SMK students in the knowledge aspect. The design of this study used a quantitative descriptive method, with data obtained using a survey through a questionnaire involving 377 respondents. The results of the study showed that the energy literacy of SMK students in the knowledge aspect was 11.36. These results indicate that the level of energy literacy in the knowledge aspect is low. The results also show that there is no difference in energy literacy in the knowledge aspect on differences in skill competence and gender. Meanwhile, in the class level group there are differences but not too significant deviation. From this research, hoped that it can be a description and improvement of energy literacy for vocational high school students in terms of knowledge.
