Abstract
Tradisi lisan Sariga adalah warisan leluhur masyarakat Muna yang mengandung kearifan lokal dan filosofi hidup yang terekspresikan dalam bentuk upacara adat yang memiliki fungsi dan nilai sebagai bentuk pengobatan tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan struktur performansi tradisi Sariga, fungsi, nilai, revitalisasi dan pemanfaatannya bagi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah performansi tradisi Sariga. Lokasi tempat penelitian di Desa Tangkumaho dan Desa Kombikuno Kecamatan Napanokusambi Kabupaten Muna Barat Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur performansi tradisi Sariga meliputi identitas dan peran partisipan, alat ekspresif yang digunakan, interaksi sosial, rangkaian tindakan, teks, konteks, dan koteks. Teks dalam tradisi Sariga berbentuk puisi lama yang berpola a-a a-a b-b, a-a a-a b-b, dan a-a a-a, sedangkan formula sintaksis terdiri atas fungsi, kategori, dan peran. Aspek semantik meliputi diksi dan gaya bahasa. Konteks penuturan dan koteks dalam tradisi Sariga merupakan satu kesatuan utuh dalam pelaksanaan tradisi yang mencerminkan fungsi tradisi di masyarakat pendukung tradisinya. Tradisi Sariga bagi masyarakat Muna, di samping berfungsi sebagai penolak bala atau pengobatan tradisional, juga mempunyai fungsi estetis, pragmatis, etis, dan historis. Nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi Sariga adalah nilai religi, pendidikan, kekeluargaan, dan kegotongroyongan. Simpulan dari penelitian bahwa tradisi Sariga merupakan tradisi lisan milik masyarakat Muna yang dilakukan secara turun-temurun dari generasi ke generasi dan keberadaannya terus ada hingga saat ini dengan kondisinya menyesuaikan perkembangan zaman. Selain itu, sumbangsih penting kajian ini adalah membuat buku pengayaan pengetahuan dalam bentuk cetak dan elektronik (e-book) yang dapat dijadikan sebagai buku Panduan Pelaksanaan Tradisi Sariga di Masyarakat Muna Barat, serta sebagai buku Panduan Penelitian Tradisi Lisan dan Sastra Lisan untuk Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. The Sariga oral tradition is the ancestral heritage of the Muna community which contains local wisdom and philosophy of life which is expressed in the form of traditional ceremony which has functions and values as a form of traditional medicine. The purpose of this study was to describe the performance structure of the Sariga tradition, its functions, values, revitalization and its utilization for the community. The research method used was a qualitative method. The source of research data was the performance of the sariga tradition. The research was located in Tangkumaho Village and Kombikuno Village, Napanokusambi Subdistrict, West Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The results showed that the performance structure of the sariga tradition includes the identities and roles of participants, the expressive tools used, social interactions, sequences of actions, texts, and contexts. The text in the Sariga tradition is in the form of an old poem with a pattern of a-a a-a b-b, a-a a-a b-b, and a-a a-a, while the syntactic formula consists of functions, categories, and roles. The semantic aspects include diction and language style. The context of the narrative and the context in the Sariga tradition is a unified whole in the implementation of the tradition which reflects the function of tradition in the community supporting the tradition. The sariga tradition for the Muna community functions as a repellent for reinforcements or traditional medicine and has aesthetic, pragmatic, ethical, and historical function. The sariga tradition contains religious, education, kinship, and mutual cooperation values. It can be concluded that the Sariga tradition is an oral tradition belonging to the Muna community which has been passed down from generation to generation and its existence continues to this day in accordance with the conditions of the times. In addition, an important contribution of this study is to make an excellent textbook in printed and electronic form (e-book) which can be used as a guidebook in implementing the sariga tradition in the West Muna community, and as a research guidebook of oral traditions and oral literature for students at Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department.
