Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Classroom dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik dengan lokasi dan subyek penelitian di kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Cimahi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Mengapa guru harus membuat perencanaan pembelajaran sejarah dengan memanfaatkan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Classroom dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik; 2) Bagaimana proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran sejarah; 3) Bagaimana dampak pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Classroom dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif verifikatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa guru telah membuat perencanaan pembelajaran, karena guru telah melakukan perencanaan yang baik maka penerapan Google Classroom dapat mewujudkan ruang kelas virtual yang menciptakan lingkungan komunikatif guru dan peserta didik yang lebih efektif; Proses pembelajaran menggunakan Google Classroom telah diintegrasikan dengan penggunaan pendekatan Creative Learning dan model pembelajaran Video Critical Learning (VCL) serta metode ceramah, penugasan, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Google Classroom juga telah diintegrasikan dengan Youtube yaitu dalam penggunaan fitur chat di forum/stream Google Classroom, fitur ini bermanfaat karena dapat menjadi sarana interaksi antara guru dengan peserta didik atau peserta didik dengan peserta didik yang lain. Di fitur tersebut peserta didik dapat mengemukakan pendapat kreatifnya, dapat mengirim video presentasi yang terintegrasi dengan Youtube sebagai hasil dari karyanya untuk disaksikan, dianalisis serta dikomentari/kritisi oleh peserta didik yang lainya; Pemanfaatan LMS berbasis Google Classroom dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik di kelas X IPS 2 MAN Kota Cimahi telah memberikan dampak yang cukup baik. This research was conducted to determine the use of Google Classroom-based Learning Management System (LMS) in fostering the creativity of students with the location and research subjects in class X IPS 2 MAN Cimahi City. The problem formulations in this study are: 1) Why should teachers make history learning plans by utilizing the Google Classroom-based Learning Management System (LMS) in fostering student creativity; 2) How is the learning process by utilizing the Google Classroom-based Learning Management System (LMS) in history learning; 3) What is the impact of using Google Classroom-based Learning Management System (LMS) in fostering student creativity. The method used in this research is descriptive verification. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the teacher has made a lesson plan, because the teacher has done a good plan, the application of Google Classroom can create a virtual classroom that creates a more effective communicative environment for teachers and students; The learning process using Google Classroom has been integrated with the use of the Creative Learning approach and the Video Critical Learning (VCL) learning model as well as lecture, assignment, discussion and question and answer methods. Google Classroom has also been integrated with Youtube, namely in the use of the chat feature in the Google Classroom forum/stream, this feature is useful because it can be a means of interaction between teachers and students or students with other students. In this feature students can express their creative opinions, can send video presentations that are integrated with Youtube as a result of their work to be watched, analyzed and commented on/criticized by other students; The use of Google Classroom-based LMS in fostering the creativity of students in class X IPS 2 MAN Cimahi City has had a pretty good impact.
