Abstract
Kurangnya kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani mengindikasikan rendahnya partisipasi belajar gerak siswa. Pentingnya melibatkan kesadaran diri, pengendalian diri, motivasi, empati serta keterampilan sosial dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Suatu study deskriptif dengan metode survey serta menggunakan teknik kuisioner/angket dalam pengumpulan data. Disebar pada 104 orang siswa di SMP IT As-Syifa Subang. Data hasil penyebaran angket dan analisis Pearson Correlation dan Koefisien Korelasi (Uji R2) dengan menggunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS 21, diperoleh hasil besaran korelasi 0,787 dengan rtabel 0,189112 (df=102 dan taraf signifikan α=0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, Pertama, hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan partisipasi belajar siswa kelas 7 SMP IT As-Syifa Subang adalah positif. Kedua, terdapat bukti-bukti bahwa kecerdasan emosional dapat ditingkatkan melalui partisipasi belajar siswa kelas 7 SMP IT As-Syifa Subang. Ketiga, terdapat interaksi guru dan siswa kelas 7 SMP IT As-Syifa Subang ketika kecerdasan emosional dikaitkan dengan partisipasi belajar. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Partisipasi Belajar Siswa, Belajar Gerak, Belajar Emosi Lack of students emotional intelligence in teaching physical education indicates low student's participation in motion study. The importance of involving self-awareness, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills in the learning process of physical education. A descriptive study using survey method and questionnaire techniques/questionnaires in data collection. Distributed to 104 students in the 7th grade of islami junior high school As-Shifa Subang. Data from questionnaire and analysis Pearson Correlation and Coefficient of Correlation (R2 Test) by using the computer program SPSS 21, the amount of correlation results obtained 0.787 with rtabel 0.189112 (df = 102, and the significant level α = 0.05). These results of research indicate that, first, the relationship between emotional intelligence and student's participation in the 7th grade of islami junior high school As-Shifa Subang is positive. Second, there are evidences that emotional intelligence can be enhanced by student's participation in the 7th grade of islami junior high school As-Shifa Subang. Third, there is teachers and students interaction in the 7th grade of islami junior high school As-Shifa Subang when emotional intelligence is associated with learning participation.
