Abstract

Collaboration skills are currently one of the skills that must be mastered and needed for students as life skills in facing the challenges of the 21st Century. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning-based group guidance in improving students' collaboration skills. This research is a quantitative study of pre-experimental studies in grade IX (Nine) students of SMP Negeri 3 Cileunyi for the academic year 2020-2021. The research method uses a pre-test post-test one group design research design by providing treatment in the form of cooperative learning-based group guidance. Based on the Sample Paired t-Test, it is known that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.001 (p < 0.05). This shows that the results of the pretest and posttest experienced significant (meaningful) changes. So it can be concluded that cooperative learning-based group guidance is effective for improving students' collaboration skills. Keywords: Collaboration Skills, Group Guidance, Cooperative Learning.
