Abstract
Kata kunci:Purifikasi, Dual adsorben (KS-SG), Bioetanol, Flow system Methods of flow systems in the purification of bioethanol by using dual adsorbents (KS – SG) has been studied. This research aims to determine method of purification bioethanol and bioethanol consentration resulting from the purification process, to know adsorption capacity of dual adsorbent ( KS - SG ) in purification process, and to obtain information on adsorption efficiency of bioethanol purification method by flow system to get maximum purity bioethanol. Sample to purification is bioethanol from cassava fermented. Bioethanol from fermented proced for three times discontinuous distillation and two times adsorption methods of flow system. Retrieved ethanol consentration by discontinuous distillation process respectively 14 %, 54 %, and 91 %. Purification process followed by adsorption methods flow system, obtained total adsorption capacity from 2.28 L bioethanol with two times adsorption method of flow system using dual adsorbents (KS-SG) for 464 minutes (7 hours 44 minutes). It can be concluded that, bioethanol produced by method of flow system purification with dual adsorbent (KS-SG) has a high efficiency rating, this is evidenced by high ethanol consentration, lower production costs, as well as the purification process
