Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan media sosial sudah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan dan menjadi bagian dari gaya hidup masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dalam berbagai aktivitas sehari-hari, salah satunya kebutuhan informasi mengenai kesehatan. Mahasiswa dalam mencari informasi tentang kesehatan mental yang sering dialaminya melalui media sosial, karena minimnya pelayanan psikologi di kampus dalam hal promosi mengenai literasi kesehatan mental hanya mendapatkan sedikit perhatian sehingga membuat mahasiswa lebih sering menjelajahi media sosial untuk mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan sehingga bisa menimbulkan self-diagnosis. Munculnya self-diagnosis karena kurangnya literasi mengenai kesehatan mental, hadirnya media sosial Riliv sebagai media literasi kesehatan mental. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh media sosial literasi kesehatan mental Riliv terhadap self-diagnosis pada mahasiswa FIP UPI, dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa FIP UPI terhadap akun media sosial Riliv sebagai akun media literasi kesehatan mental. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa angkatan 2018 FIP UPI. Penentuan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling, dengan teknik pengumpulan data instrumen berupa kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa literasi kesehatan mental mahasiswa angkatan 2018 FIP UPI ini dikatakan baik dengan perolehan nilai presentase skor 77,36%, sementara pada self-diagnosis mendapatkan sebesar 68,15% yang berarti kuat, dan pada indikator media sosial Riliv mendapatkan presentase skor sebesar 77,05% yang berarti kuat. Pada hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mahasiswa dan pustakawan mampu mengelola informasi dengan sebijak mungkin. This research is motivated by the use of social media has become a necessity and has become part of people's lifestyles to meet information needs in various daily activities, one of which is the need for information about health. Students in searching for information about mental health that they often experience through social media, due to the lack of psychological services on campus in terms of promotion of mental health literacy only get little attention so that students often explore social media to find the information needed so that it can lead to self-diagnosis. The emergence of self-diagnosis due to lack of literacy regarding mental health, the presence of Riliv social media as a media for mental health literacy. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of Riliv's mental health literacy social media on self-diagnosis of UPI FIP students, and to determine the response of UPI FIP students to Riliv's social media account as a mental health literacy media account. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive method. The population in this study was the 2018 FIP UPI students. Determination of the sampling technique using probability sampling, with instrument data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research obtained, it shows that the mental health literacy of the 2018 FIP UPI students is said to be good with a score percentage of 77.36%, while for self-diagnosis it is 68.15% which means strong, and on social media indicators, Riliv gets the percentage score of 77.05% which means strong.
