Abstract

Degradasi moral yang dialami peserta didik membuat maraknya kasus dekadensi moral yang menyebabkan kejahatan dan kriminalitas remaja menjadi kasus terbanyak sepanjang tahun 2016-2020. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kurangnya efektifitas pendidikan moral pada pendidikan formal sehingga menyebabkan semakin menjauhnya peserta didik dari nilai moral. Oleh karena itu, Kualitas pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di lembaga pendidikan formal sangat perlu ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran sastra klasik. Salah satu jenis sastra klasik yang kaya akan nilai deduktif sebagai tunjuk ajar yaitu hikayat. Sehubungan dengan itu, tunjuk ajar yang berisi nasihat, petuah, serta teladan yang bertujuan untuk membimbing manusia terangkum dalam sastra klasik lokal yaitu tunjuk ajar Melayu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mengidentifikasi struktur teks hikayat Bayan Budiman, 2) merepresentasikan nilai tunjuk ajar Melayu dalam hikayat Bayan Budiman, 3) merumuskan kesesuaian nilai tunjuk ajar Melayu yang terdapat di dalam hikayat Bayan Budiman dengan nilai-nilai standar karakter Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional (2018), 4) menyajikan pemanfataan tunjuk ajar Melayu dalam hikayat Bayan Budiman sebagai alternatif modul elektronik interaktif pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif analisis yang merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hikayat Bayan Budiman, maka diperoleh hasil: (1) struktur hikayat dengan pengaluran linear dan karakter utamanya burung bayan seekor burung yang bijaksana; (2) Terdapat 13 nilai dari 29 nilai tunjuk ajar yang dominan, yaitu butir ketakwaan kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa; (3) Terdapat 5 nilai karakter dalam hikayat yang dominan, yaitu nilai religius; (4) Hasil dari penelitian dimanfaatkan sebagai modul elektronik interaktif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dapat menjadi upaya pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui sastra klasik. Kemudian, Hasil analisis ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bentuk modul elektronik interaktif dan layak digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. ABSTRACT TUNJUK AJAR MELAYU IN THE STORY OF BAYAN BUDIMAN AND ITS UTILIZATION AS ELECTRONIC MODULES FOR INDONESIAN LEARNING IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL RANI HIDAYATI 1906503 Moral degradation experienced by students increases moral decadence cases which cause juvenile crime to become the most cases throughout 2016-2020. This is due to the lack of effectiveness of moral education in formal education, causing students to be distant from moral values. Therefore, the quality of the implementation of character education in formal educational institutions really needs to be improved through classical literature learning. One type of classical literature that is rich in deductive value as a teaching tool is hikayat or story. In this regard, tunjuk ajar which consists of advice, religious advice, and life examples that aim to guide humans are summarized in a local classical literature, namely Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. The aims of this study are 1) to identify the text structure of the hikayat of Bayan Budiman, 2) to represent the values of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu in the hikayat of Bayan Budiman, 3) to formulate the suitability of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu values contained in the hikayat of Bayan Budiman with the standard values of the character according to the Ministry of Education (2018), 4) presents the use of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu in the hikayat of Bayan Budiman as an alternative to interactive electronic modules for learning Indonesian in senior high school. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method which is a qualitative research method. Based on the results of the study on the hikayat of Bayan Budiman, the following results were obtained: (1) the structure of the hikayat is linear plotting and the main character is the Bayan bird which is a wise bird; (2) There are 13 dominant values out of 29 values of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu, namely the moral principle of belief to God Almighty; (3) There are 5 dominant character values in the hikayat, which is religious values; (4) The results of the research are utilized as an interactive electronic module. Therefore, this research can be an effort to form the character of students through classical literature. Then, the results of this analysis can be utilized in the form of interactive electronic modules and are worthy of use as a support for learning Indonesian in high school.
