Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Gebangjaya 1, Kecamatan Cibuaya Kabupaten Karawang yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang kurang aktif pada Tema 8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku Subtema 1 Lingkungan Tempat Tinggalku. Penelitian ini berlatar belakang pada hasil observasi prasiklus yang telah dilakukan dan diketahui masih rendah, siswa kurang aktif, lebih senang bercanda, kurang memperhatikan guru, kurang percaya diri, kurang bertanggungjawab terhadap tugas yang diberikan guru, kurang berinteraksi dengan teman yang lainnya. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan model Team Games And Tournament. Teams games and tournament termasuk dalam salah satu tipe model cooperative learning. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), populasi penelitian adalah siswa SDN Gebangjaya 1, Kecamatan Cibuaya, Kabupaten Karawang. Sampel yang diambil yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Gebangjaya 1 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV di SDN Gebangjaya 1 tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Team Game And Tournament dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: Cooperative Learning, Team Games And Tournament, Tema 8 Subtema 1. ----- This research was conducted at SDN Gebangjaya 1, Cibuaya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency, which aims to improve learning process less active of Theme 8 Areas of Where I live Subtema 1 My Neighborhood. This research is based on pre-cycle observations that have been carried out and are known to be still low, students are less active, prefer to joke, pay less attention to teachers, lack confidence, are less responsible for the assignments given by the teacher, lack of associating with other friends. One solution that can be used is by applying the Team Games And Tournament model. Teams games and tournament are included in one type of cooperative learning model. This study included the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), The study population was students of SDN Gebangjaya 1, Cibuaya District, Karawang Regency. The samples taken were fourth grade students of SDN Gebangjaya 1 with research subjects of fourth grade students at SDN Gebangjaya 1 academic year 2018/2019 which amounted to 24 students. The research instrument used was in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Team Games And Tournament model can improve learning process in class.
