Abstract

Pada pembelajaran abad ke 21 peserta didik dituntut untuk memiliki beberapa keterampilan yakni berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, kreatif dan inovatif, komunikasi serta kolaborasi. Buku teks merupakan alat dan sumber belajar yang penting untuk meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang buku teks PPKn Kelas X dalam Kerangka Pembelajaran Abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Mix Methods dengan desain penelitian concurrent triangulation strategy. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis teks, observasi, kuesioner/angket, dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kesesuaian isi buku teks PPKn Kelas X terbitan Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan Indonesia dengan terbitan Erlangga dalam kerangka pembelajaran abad 21 sudah disajikan dengan sangat baik. Tetapi, pada buku teks PPKn Kelas X terbitan Srikandi Empat yang belum sepenuhnya menyajikan pembelajaran abad 21 terutama pada aspek komunikasi dan kolaborasi; 2) pendekatan model pembelajaran yang dipilih yakni Problem Solving dan Project Based Learning sudah relevan dengan materi ketiga buku teks PPKn; 3) Keterbacaan pada buku teks PPKn Kelas X dinilai baik. Kemudahan, kemenarikan, dan keterpahaman pada buku teks tersebut sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta didik. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa buku teks PPKn Kelas X sudah menyajikan pembelajaran abad 21 dengan baik. Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan Indonesia harus mengeluarkan pedoman penulisan buku teks PPKn yang lebih fokus pada pembelajaran abad 21 sehingga penulis dan penerbit buku memasukkan pembelajaran abad 21 secara merata ke dalam setiap bab buku teks. In 21st century learning, students are required to have several skills, namely critical thinking and problem solving, creative and innovative, communication and collaboration. Textbooks are important learning tools and resources to improve students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This study aims to find out about the PPKn Class X textbooks in the 21st Century Learning Framework. This study uses aapproach Mix Methods with aresearch design concurrent triangulation strategy. Data were collected through text analysis, observation, questionnaires, and literature study. The results of the study show that: 1) the suitability of the contents of the PPKn textbooks for Class X published by the Indonesian Center for Curriculum and Books with those published by Erlangga within the framework of 21st century learning has been presented very well. However, in the Civics Class X textbook published by Srikandi Empat which has not fully presented 21st century learning, especially in the aspects of communication and collaboration; 2) the chosen learning model approach, namely Problem Solving and Project Based Learning, is relevant to the material of the three PPKn textbooks; 3) The readability of the Class X PPKn textbooks is considered good. The convenience, attractiveness, and understanding of the textbook are in accordance with the abilities of students. The conclusion of the research shows that the textbook of Civics Class X has presented 21st century learning well. The Indonesian Center for Curriculum and Books must issue guidelines for writing Civics textbooks that are more focused on 21st century learning so that authors and book publishers incorporate 21st century learning equally into every chapter of textbooks.
