Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan autentik terhadap gaya pengambilan keputusan pada karyawan di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 224 karyawan yang memiliki bawahan atau kewenangan membuat perencanaan, mengkoordinasikan, dan mengevaluasi suatu proses pada tugas pokok dan fungsinya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ) (Walumba dkk., 2008) untuk mengukur Kepemimpinan Autentik dan General Decision Making Style (GDMS) (Scott dan Bruce, 1995) untuk mengukur Gaya Pengambilan Keputusan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan autentik mempengaruhi empat dari lima gaya pengambilan keputusan, yaitu avoidance, dependence, rational, dan spontaneous. Hanya gaya pengambilan keputusan intuitive yang tidak ditemukan dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan autentik. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of authentic leadership to the decision-making style of employees in the city of Bandung. The research uses quantitative research methods. Participants in this study were 224 employees who have subordinates or the authority to plan, coordinate, and evaluate a process in its main tasks and functions. The instrument used was the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ) instrument (Walumba et al., 2008) to measure Authentic Leadership and General Decision Making Scale (GDMS) (Scott and Bruce, 1995) to measure Decision Making Styles. The results of this study indicate that authentic leadership affects four of the five decision-making styles, which are avoidance, dependence, rational, and spontaneous. Only the intuitive decision-making style was not found to be influenced by authentic leadership.
