Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan representasi literary tourism
(pariwisata sastra) yang muncul dalam variety show (acara ragam) 2 Days 1 Night episode 170
bertema “Perjalanan Emosional bersama Penyair di Hadong, Gyeongnam” yang ditayangkan
pada tahun 2017 menggunakan pendekatan semiotika dua tahap signifikansi melalui makna
denotasi kemudian makna konotasi dan mitos dari Roland Barthes. Metode yang digunakan
adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mengkaji data visual dan verbal dari 23 adegan
terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan representasi pariwisata sastra sebagai berikut;
11 adegan merujuk pada sastra sebagai daya tarik pariwisata melalui televisi, 3 adegan merujuk
pada destinasi sebagai latar aktivitas sastra melalui televisi, 3 adegan merujuk pada catatan atau
cerita perjalanan, kemudian 2 adegan merujuk pada tempat-tempat penting dalam karya sastra,
2 adegan menunjukkan karya sastra sebagai penghormatan kepada tempat asli, satu adegan
mengacu pada wisata filmisasi karya sastra dan satu adegan menunjukkan aktivitas wisata
melalui daya tarik kehidupan dan kediaman figur sastrawan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
fenomena pariwisata yang didorong oleh keindahan sastra memiliki hubungan resiprokal, di
mana keindahan alam dan tempat tertentu sebagai latar belakang akan mengangkat keindahan
karya sastra sehingga akan menambah nilai, esensi, emosi, dan rasa dalam suatu perjalanan,
begitu pula sebaliknya.
This study aims to find and describe the representation of literary tourism that appears in the
variety show 2 Days 1 Night episode 170 themed “Emotional Trip with the Poets in Hadong,
Gyeongnam” which aired in 2017 using a two-stage semiotic approach of significance through
denotative meaning, then connotations meaning and myths of Roland Barthes. The method
used is descriptive qualitative research, which examines visual and verbal data from 23 selected
scenes. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the representation of literary tourism
was as follows; 11 scenes refer to literature as a tourism attraction through television, 3 scenes
refer to destinations as background for literary activities through television, 3 scenes refer to
trave lwriting, then 2 scenes refer to important places in literary works, 2 scenes show literary
work as homage to an actual place, one scene refers to the film induce literary tourism, and one
scene shows tourism activities through the appeal of life of literary figures. This study shows
that the tourism phenomenon which is driven by the beauty of literature has a reciprocal
relationship, where the beauty of nature and a certain place as a background will elevate the
beauty of literary works so that it will add value, essence, emotion, and taste in a journey, and
vice versa.
