Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential hazards, risk assessment and control measures carried out in the OCTG unloading process using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires/interviews and direct observation. The results of research at Pertamina EP (Exploration and Production) Regional 2 Zone 5 Block Abar-Anggursi show that there is a potential for work accidents in the OCTG unloading job and control measures can be taken, namely by preparing work permit documents/risk studies by way of elimination, substitution, engineering control , administrative control, or PPE (Personal Protective Elimination), the risk assessment results obtained with a large category of 8, 11 in the medium category, 1 in the small category, and 0 in the very small category. After carrying out the control plan using the job safety analysis (JSA) method, the results obtained: there are no jobs with very high risk/NOA, large risk, medium risk, small risk, and jobs with very small risk categories as many as 29 risks.
